Patel College of Pharmacy, Umrakh was established in the year 2004 under the ages of Vidyabharti Trust with main objective of visionary in the mission of quality Pharmacy education. The Shree N. L. Patel College of Pharmacy is located on the way of Bardoli-Mota road 3 kilometer away from Bardoli and 34 kilometer away from Surat in a lush green sprawling campus with Excellent infrastructure facilities. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by Government of Gujarat and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmadabad. At this moment Shree N. L. Patel College of Pharmacy offers B. Pharm and M.Pharm course in Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance & Pharmacology to input knowledge and empower individuals with wisdom to prepare pharmacist of the future. OUR VISION To emerge as a most preferred institution for education in pharmacy in this region and to develop multifaceted pharmacist who shall lead the nation to a better future. OUR MISSION 1. To provide a stimulating environment where knowledge of basic subjects is integrated with health concerns for the world community. 2. To inculcate professional ethics, social responsibility and commitment for lifelong learning. 3. To March on par with current developments to become a professionally competent. Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) 1. Knowledge: Graduates of the program will be having strong background along with necessary skill set in pharmaceutical sciences and able to use these tools in pharmaceutical industry, community pharmacy and institutes or wherever in the area of profession they choose necessary for success. 2. Competency: Become a competent pharmacy professional and work at responsible positions in various areas of pharmaceutical industry and allied fields. 3.Professionalism: Inculcate professional and ethical values in students to function productively in professional environment. MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL Shree Naranjibhai Lalbhai Patel college of Pharmacy, Umrakh has always been in the forefront in identifying the needs of the industry and training the undergraduate and postgraduate students as per their requirements. The training and placements cell at our college identifies these needs and conducts various training programmes, workshops, and seminars to improve both the technical skills and soft skills of our students. Choosing a career after graduation is a major decision and many of our students are uncertain about which path to choose. The Center for Career Guidance of the college plays an important role in this decision making process from the moment a student joins the college. This helped us in Dr. Dhiren Shah identifying the students who are aiming to secure a job after (Principal, SNLPCP) graduation and students who are aiming for higher education. Due to this, our students are more focussed and trained towards achieving their goals and the employers of our students are benefited. A thought that has been enduring in mind when it becomes real; is truly an interesting and exciting experience. This annual report was one such cherished work that had its roots in persuasion. It would be a snapshot of the various activities and advancements for all associated with the Department. Proper communication plays a vital role in the institution's development. This annual report will serve to reinforce and allow increased awareness, improved interaction, and integration among all of us. Therefore, project falls under category A of schedule 5(f), as per the EIA Notification, September 2006 of MoEF, New Delhi, we are cover under the same i.e Schedule 5(f), Category-A. Therefore, it requires prior Environment Clearance. There is no forest/wild life sanctuary/eco sensitive area present within 10 Km area from the project site. The proposed unit will be developed in an industrial estate. The land is already Non- Agriculture. The Proposed project activity will be developed as per plan lay out shown in Annexure – 2 of EC Application in industrial park. The project will not cause any permanent or temporary change to land use, land cover or topography including increase in intensity of land use (with respect to local land use plan). The cost for proposed plan will be Rs. 195 lacs. For, Electric power requirement: unit will apply for electric connection of 50 KVA to DGVCL.
