Action for Social Advancement (ASA) ( As a DA, and PA) Location :- Kasrawad (khargone), Ojhar( Barwani), under Rajpur (Barwani) MP Duration: September 2005 – October: - 2012 In Kasrawad (Khargone) Participatory irrigation management (PIM) Project at SATAK facilitation of Water User Association and farmers for optimum use of water and to aware farmers for canal protection. Execute water distribution system (bara bandi) and collect contribution for renovation of canal. B.C.I. [Better Cotton Initiative] the farmers were trained by making learning groups for good agricultural practices in which they were not allowed to child labor and use of bend pesticides in the field. To encourage farmers for crop protection, soil health, water management and give equal wages for equal work and make good quality of fiber trough proper storage and transportation also promoting low cost technique for reduce cost of cultivation like border crop, inter crop, crop rotation, homemade pesticides, use of light and pheromone trap . In Ojhar( Barwani) i have done various activity like promotion of agribusiness trough Nimad farmer pro. Com purchasing cotton from farmers above 500 million and formation of SHGs and capacity building for them also did participation in technical support team for watershed program.
