Enjoy a summer cycle, away from the traffic. Hire a bike and explore the historic Gippsland Rail Trails. Cost: 3 days of cycling $190 per adult, $120 per child under 15. Our 3 Day Rail Trail Special Includes: Bicycle, Helmet and Hi-vis. Or BYO. Bike drop off and pick up each day Water bottle, yours to keep! Front pannier, for your stuff. Roadside assist, if you need us. CycleWayz app cycling tour guide with inbuilt navigation We will drop the bikes to you at the Rail Trail start at 9am. We will collect the bikes at a time that suits the return bus transport. You just cycle as far as you like and be at the nearest bus stop in time for us to collect the bikes. Timetables supplied. Text us your booking number and location so we know where you are! The rides start on the days nominated and all 3 days are included. Please ask for prices if you wish to do 1 or 2 days only. Day 1 Bass Coast Rail Trail: Any Monday, Thursday Meet 9am San Remo, the start of the Phillip Island Cycle link to the Bass Coast Rail Trail. The Bass Coast Rail Trail is the only coastal Rail Trail in Australia. Enjoy the fantastic views of Phillip Island and Westernport as you cycle across on the new cycle path. Love cycling along the thunderous Bass Coast and over the century old Trestle Bridge at Kilcunda. Have some lunch and continue along to Wonthaggi and the State Coal Mine, if you like take an underground tour. We will collect the bikes at the Wonthaggi Railway Station in time for the bus back to San Remo. Distance: 35km. Grading: Easy. Surface: Unsealed. Day 2 Great Southern Rail Trail: Any Sunday, Tuesday, Friday Meet 9am Leongatha at the cnr of Young & Holt Sts. This cycle is through wonderful old towns full of Arts and Crafts, home grown produce, old buildings and fantastic views of the southern Strzelecki Ranges, Wilsons Promontory and emerald green countryside. Look out for wombats, Echidnas and wallabies as you cycle along. The colourful birds are a treat. Finish at Port Welshpool, home to the long jetty and views of Corner Inlet. We will collect the bikes along the way or at Welshpool in time for the bus back to Leongatha. Distance: 71km or as far as you like. Grading: Easy. Surface: Unsealed. Finish at Meeniyan 16km, Fish Creek 34km, Foster 47km, Toora 57km, Welshpool 67km. Day 3 Grand Ridge Rail Trail; Any Wednesday, Saturday Meet at 9am in Mirboo North at Baromi Park. This is a great cycle to the small town of Boolarra through the forests and trees. It is truly to be enjoyed. Boolarra is a little town full of history and great cafes. It has a huge park and playground just perfect for a picnic. Cycle return back up the hill to Mirboo North, home of the Grand Ridge Brewery. Distance: 26km. Grading: Easy. Surface: Unsealed. .
