The presentation, given by Les Jones, a former crisis negotiator with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, was a discussion about safety at work and in public, providing de-escalation techniques and escape strategies. The personal safety presentation and dialogue was in response to concerns from staff regarding increased safety concerns while working in the public domain. All available seats were taken and another session will be planned later in the year.
