    Update on A Citizens’ Plan for I-69 Texas from the I-69 Advisory Committee May 2011 is essential for sustaining economic competitiveness, job growth and the I-69 mobility of our state as it serves increasing demand to efficiently move people, freight and goods between population centers, ports and key border crossings. In Texas, I-69 represents nearly half of the overall length of the proposed national interstate, which extends from Michigan to Texas. The Texas portion reaches from Texarkana and Joaquin, through the gulf ports of Houston, Victoria, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville to the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo. In 2008, the Texas Transportation Commission established the I-69 Advisory Committee and five Segment Committees to assist the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in the planning process for I-69. These committees are working to provide a locally focused, citizen plan for developing I-69. The following sections describe the creation and efforts to-date of these volunteer citizen committees. The current membership of these committees is provided on the first page of the insert included with this report. I-69 Advisory Committee The Texas Transportation Commission created the I-69 Advisory Committee in March 2008; membership includes citizens throughout the I-69 system in Texas. Mason Murovich made 13 third period saves in relief of Pheonix Copley in his first action for Corpus Christi. GAME #2: Corpus Christi 4-1 New Mexico: The Corpus Christi IceRays scored four unanswered goals, three coming in the third period and defeated the New Mexico Mustangs, 4-1, at the Santa Ana Star Center on Saturday night. Without support from the Export-Import Bank, businesses in cities nationwide will face little or no financing alternatives, putting U.S. jobs in jeopardy. In 2013, Ex-Im Bank provided more than $27.3 billion in financing, enabling $34.7 billion in exports and supporting more than 205,000 jobs nationwide. These jobs come from businesses of all sizes – not just large businesses as opponents have argued. Small businesses need more certainty and protection to compete in new markets and help create jobs, which explains why Ex-Im Bank has financed more small businesses in the last five years than in the previous 11 years combined. In FY 2013, nearly 90 percent of Ex-Im Bank’s transactions supported American small businesses. To put things further in perspective, Ex-Im Bank support for small businesses led to more than 46,000 jobs in the state of Florida and more than 134,000 jobs in the state of California alone.
