The Associação Brasileira de Desportos Para Deficientes Intelectuais – ABDEM - Brazil invites for the 6º World Football Championships 2014.
Dates: Arrival: August, 11th 2014. Departure: August, 25th 2014.
Event site: Country Brazil State São Paulo Cities Santos, São Vicente e Guarujá.
Where: Santos, Guarujá and São Vicente are located at the southern coast of São Paulo - Brazil.
§ Santos – The major Latin-American port and most important city in the cost of São Paulo. Has great beaches and is a major touristic city in the state. Has marvelous infrastructure for major events with a convention Centre, many hotels and numerous restaurants. § Guarujá – Known as the “Pearl of the Atlantic” due to its beautiful beaches and nature, it is looked by tourists in the high season. The city has beaches for all: there are urban beaches, some isolated, assessable only by trails and surf beaches. Amongst other activities the city offers visits to historical sites, fishing and other activities.
São Vicente – It was the first vile of the Americas founded by the Portuguese in 1532. At that same year, on August 22nd, they had the first elections in America, where they chose the officers of the chamber, what now would be a city councilor. Today the city, situated at the east part of the Island o São Vicente, shared with Santos, bases its economy in commerce and tourism.

The organization will offer 6 fields for training of the teams.
Rules: The Confederação Brasileira de Futebol will follow FIFA rules and regulations.
General Championship information: 16 teams (countries) will be split in four groups of four teams:
Groups A and B, will play on the same day. Groups C and D, will play on the same day, though different days than groups A and B. There will be one game in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Each team will have one day of rest between their games.

Health services: - All cities have government and privates hospitals and clinics. - The organization will only accept entry of team members that are covered by international health insurance. - Emergency and first aid services will be provided at all official practices and games. - Physiotherapists will be available at official games. - There will be anti-doping testing. - It is recommended that all teams’ members take procedures (vaccination) against yellow fever 30 days before coming to Brazil.
Climate
- The climate of the cities in the month of August is sunny and little chance of rain. - The average temperature ranges from 18 to 25 degrees.
Accommodation:
- There will be offered two different types of accommodations in the cities of Santos and Guarujá. - All meals are included and will be served at the hotels
Power: Both cities have power outlets of 110V and 220V, depending on location. It is advised that electronic equipment should support both voltages. Adapters will be needed.

Eligibility: All participants must be registered in the Inas master list and have a valid registration number no later than the final entry deadline. There is no ‘guest’ entry.
Players must show their passport for. The verification of eligibility and accreditation will happen: Date: August 11th 2014 Time: 10:00h to 22:00h. Local: Event headquarters.

Transportation:
- Teams will be conducted to and from official games and practices in busses offered by the tournament organization. - Other types of transportation such as public transportation may be used at your own cost and are available by buses and taxis. - Small vehicles will be available for emergencies (free of charge). - Information about rental cars will be available upon request. International driving license will be requested when the car is rented.

Visas: Each country (team) will be responsible for their own travel documents (passports) and visas when necessary.
Official language: The official language of the tournament will be English and Portuguese. Since INAS official language is English. All documentation and information will be in English. An interpreter will be provided to each team.

Competition rules: FIFA rules and regulations will be followed. Teams may enter a maximum of 18 players and up to 7 staff.
Volunteers: All teams will have a volunteer which will be hosted at the same hotel as the team.
Official national equipment: Each participating country will hand upon accreditation 3 official national flags e 1 CD with the official national anthem.
