I return all the Glory back to the Lord God Almighty I dedicate this book to my most and ever loving family who have always stood by me through every season and supported me in every venture i have undertaken with the appropriate wisdom and counsel that flows from their love to me and their desire to see me fully succeed and prosper. Of course there is my most loved brother, Roy, a won- derful man of GOD and true son of the FATHER and his Prophet whose life as a believer spoke volumes to us as a family eventually winning all of us to Christ by his Christ like living and life which we saw firsthand by his unconditional love as a brother. Remembering also my precious jewels, my diamonds that are forever, my children Beauty queen Ebony, Warrior king Joshua and Chief prince Lucien who remain a continuous and unending wellspring and off- spring of joy to my spirit, soul and body being the very fruits of my own body. You are the gifts of love from the Father to me and i cherish you all dearly. Not forgetting all my lovely nieces and nephews, Uvie, Tejeri, Mine, Funmi, Yomi and Tobi and my in law Mr Obafemi who are all sources of family inspiration and a joy to me. We are one large blessed and favoured family named in the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ. I also dedicate this book to my extended family in the body of Christ at Emmanuel Prayer Centre where God himself dwells by his Holy Spirit, the spirit of love in his fullness, building us up by his Spirit and his word to be a people of love, a people of power, a people of grace, a people of truth, a people of holiness and a people of x Dedication wisdom, the salt of the earth, the light of the world , a city set upon the hill as the model church representing the kingdom of God and his Christ. I dedicate this book to every man, woman and child to fully express their uniqueness and oneness in their destiny of life in God and Christ in whom all things con- sist allowing the Spirit of God to express himself by the gifts and talents he has given them to trade with, make a profit and be a blessing to their generation. In conclusion, this book is dedicated to my woman, my wife, spirit of my spirit, bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh whose beauty and glory i have seen in the spirit and which stirred up the dimension of the love of God reserved in me for my wife. However, that love has not been revealed in the flesh as yet until the time appointed. She brought up from the deep of the Father’s love in me the love that can only be brought up by a woman out of a man and caused it to be given full expression. It is a high honour and privilege to meet with you through this realm of the living word that is spirit and life and because there is no distance in the spirit, we might as well be standing right in the presence of each other now. Therefore i embrace you with a loving hug and a warm hand shake expressing my sincere pleasure and delight to meet with you and thanking you for giving me audience with you precious time in reading this book. I believe that as you embark on this journey of inspi- ration through the words of this book, you will truly be inspired to be the unique person you are and also to express your God given unique talent and creativity to be a blessing and inspiration to your generation. That being the case, then, i will have fully satisfied the purpose and inspiration for which i have written this book and been a help in assisting you to fulfil the full potential of your destiny. I am glad and honoured to have met you xvii CHAPTER ONE LOVE mmmh , LOVE ! ove is giving the best of what you have the essence L of your being, of who you are to another without expecting anything in return. You are satisfied when you know that what you have given is simply received and makes the other person happy. Love is not being afraid to be vulnerable knowing you could get hurt but you are willing to take that risk and put your life on the line for that other person because they are absolutely worth it and more Love is kindled by a little spark from the other person which may have just been a smile, a gentle word spoken, or a simple gesture of hospitality. But the spark ignited an inferno of dormant emotions in the inner most being and depths of the other person causing him to be willing to do anything to make the other happy. Her happiness becomes his life quest and what gives impetus to his vision of success. Love is seeing the beauty of the other person spir- itually, physically, emotionally and intellectually and 1 DIVIDING THE WORD, DEEP CALLETH UNTO DEEP constantly complimenting those qualities frequently and sincerely. Love sees only the good aspects of the other person and magnifies them over any per- ceived weaknesses thereby causing those qualities to blossom in that person. Love is your heart skipping a beat whenever you see that person because the space between your heart beat is reserved solely for her. Love is what you say backed even more forcibly by what you do as an expression of what you say.

The following teen program complements the children’s program “Step To The Beat…Read”, but is specifically designed for the interests and needs of students in sixth through twelfth grades. It consists of eight weeks of programming (the average summer program) but can be adapted to be a year’s worth of programming if a library so desires. It’s a powerful word. And in truth we had a pretty heated debate about it at the beginning of the year when we were choosing a name for the class. Asylum won, and I was content. Sure the word conjures visions of dark cells and strait jackets but, looking it up in the American Heritage Dictionary, I find it comes from “Middle Englishasilum , refuge, from Latin asȳlum, from Greek asūlon, sanctuary.” Sanctuary seems like the right word: a place of safety and protection. In fact, it’s not until the third definition that the more common meaning arises: “An institution for the care of people, especially those with physical or mental disabilities, who require organized supervision or assistance.” Disabilities? Clearly not. Supervision? Not much. Assistance? Hopefully. The case for a little craziness, though, goes back at least to Socrates, who said that the poet of “sane compositions” will be “utterly eclipsed by the performances of the inspired madman.” Allen Ginsberg, an excellent example of an inspired madman and a favorite of ours this year, stated it more bluntly: “Follow your inner moonlight, don’t hide the madness.” So if you find a little madness, a little “inner moonlight” in this book, don’t be...well...shocked.
