With doors wide open, the reception room blends seamlessly with the terrace. It makes a superb al fresco summer dining room and guests can spill out for drinks and conversation. Langdale has a warm and inviting atmosphere and is perfect for entertaining. The light atmosphere continues to the first floor where the spacious master bedroom suite is a welcome adult sanctuary, with its en suite and views across the neighbouring fields. The tranquil garden is on two levels, and from the patio a few steps leads you up to the lawn which sweeps towards the end of the garden, where the neighbouring fields form a charming backdrop. The garden is very child friendly and presently the swing and climbing frame are positioned where the children can enjoy watching the changing seasons across the countryside. The present owners have loved the time they have spent in Langdale and are sorry to leave but take away many happy memories. NORTHAMPTON Lying on the banks of the river Nene, Northampton is one of the largest towns in the UK and the county town of Northamptonshire. The town is ideally located, approximately 67 miles north-west of London and 50 miles south-east of Birmingham. The earliest reference to Northampton in writing occurred in 914 under the name Ham tune, literally meaning “home town”.
