Once again, the public has largely taken part in the 120 th anniversary of the Mondial Paris Motor Show 2018. In spite of a shorter duration of the Show -from 16 to 11 days - the Mondial has gathered 1 068 194 participants. It remains the most visited automobile event in the World, largely ahead of the IAA in Frankfurt (810,000 visitors in 2017) and the Geneva Show (660,000 visitors in 2018). A revisited Paris Motor Show bringing together automobiles, motorcycles, mobility, tech and events organised beyond the walls of the Porte de Versailles. The MONDIAL DE L'AUTO and the EQUIP AUTO trade show are coming back in 2022. The two flagship events in the automotive industry will come together and be held at the same time in autumn 2022 to form the Paris Automotive Week. Faced with historic challenges, the automotive sector is looking to the future more than ever, investing unprecedented amounts into vehicles that would provide sustainable and connected transport for all. Over the last few months, and after successive periods of lockdown, consumers around the world have proven the importance of freedom of movement and individual transport. With its large companies, manufacturers and parts suppliers operating on a global scale, as well as its engineering companies, start-ups and all the distribution and repair companies, the automotive and transportation industry in France is one of the four largest players in the world and an effective incentive for innovation in the country. In this context, the French automotive sector is delighted to announce the return of the MONDIAL DE L'AUTO and the EQUIP AUTO trade show in autumn 2022. For the first time, the two flagship events in the automotive sector are coming together to form the Paris Automotive Week, which will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center from 17 to 23 October 2022. -

PRESS INFORMATION December 15, 2008 RENAULT TO MAKE GUEST STAR APPEARANCE ON THE 2009 TRAVERSÉE DE PARIS (JANUARY 4) The ninth Traversée de Paris, which is organised by Vincennes en Anciennes, will take place on Sunday January 4, 2009. This annual run for classic vehicles crosses historical Paris and takes in such celebrated districts as the Bastille and Montmartre, as well as the famous Place de l'Opéra and Place Vendôme. The Traversée de Paris features a staggering variety of pre-1980s vehicles which range from the popular Renault 4CV to the striking Bugatti Atlantic which are driven by collectors and enthusiasts from all backgrounds. In addition to the friendly atmosphere, the day's highlight will be a display of all the entered vehicles at the Fontaines du Trocadéro, opposite the Eiffel Tower, Paris, from 11am. As the official partner of this exceptional parade, Renault will be present with a number of cabriolets and vans of yesteryear, including several Florides and Estafettes, two models which celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2009 (see appendix for brief descriptions of both vehicles). Down memory boulevard… The inaugural Traversée de Paris was the result of the wild idea of a group of enthusiasts who decided to drive through Paris at the wheel of some weird and wonderful machines. Word of mouth, the good humoured nature of the day and the pleasure of having Paris to oneself for a moment has since turned the annual outing into a huge success. Indeed, the 2008 Traversée de Paris was so successful that the organisers received some 520 entries but regretfully had to put 170 cars on the waiting list because of limited parking space at the Fontaines du Trocadéro.
