I don't feel like coming to class every day and boring you. And I don't want you to bore me with mediocre work because you aren't into this class. So, I've got a deal for you… I’ll do my best to make learning an energizing, enlightening, and enjoyable experience – and in return, you will think deeply, be active, talk with me about your concerns, and do thoughtful work. Show me that you can handle a different kind of class atmosphere. Students in my classes are required to do a lot of reading, writing, thinking, and participating. They are also expected to relax, enjoy themselves, and laugh at my bad jokes (all of them).
