FORESTS ORDINANCE.

ORDER BY THE HIGH COMMISSIONER UNDER SECTION 13.

IN EXERCISE of the powers vested in him by section 13 of the

Forests Ordinance, the High Commissioner is pleased to declare CaP• Gl• and it is hereby declared that the forest reserves and parts of forest reserves described in the schedule to this Order shall be closed forest areas.

The boundaries of the forest reserves and parts of forest reserves hereby declared to be closed forest areas are demarcated by num• bered rock marks consisting of iron bolts concreted into the rocks, and land marks consisting of angle irons concreted into the ground and notice boards bearing the inscription "Closed Forest Area" in English, and Hebrew. Whitewashed loose stone cairns are erected at the boundary marks to make the boundaries con• spicuous and visible.

North : Stinting from a notice board situated at rock mark 14/N on the eastern side of Wadi el-Mathuma, the boundary proceeds south-eastward through rock mark 13/N as far as rock mark 12/N; thence eastward through rock mark 11/N as far as rock mark 10/N; thence north-eastward through rock marks 9/N, 8/N, 7/N, 6/N and 5/N as far as rock mark 4/N situ• ated in a shallow wadi known as Sha'b Suweid; thence along Sha'b Suweid through rock marks 3/N and 2/N as far as a notice board situated at the meeting of Sha'b Suweid and Wadi Fashara•

Boundaries : The area is surrounded by a barbed wire fence.

Position : A part of Jabal el-Qafze Forest Reserve No. 206 proclaimed in the proclamation dated the 24th June, 1932, under the Forests Ordinance published in the Gazette No. 310 of the 1st July, 1932, about 2 kilometres from Nazareth town, out• side the municipal boundaries.

Boundaries North : Starting from rock mark 3/A situated in Wad el-Haj the boundary proceeds eastward as far as a notice board situated near trigonometrical point T.83; thence it proceeds south• eastward as far as rock mark 4/K.

East: From rock mark 4/K the boundary proceeds southward as far as a notice board situated at land mark 5/K.
