Broward County PBA Scholarship Committee 2650 West State Road 84 Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312

Dear Broward County PBA Scholarship Committee,

Mere words cannot express how grateful I am to be the re- cipient of this scholarship. June 22, 2012 I will begin my educa- tional career in Criminology at Florida State University. I chose this field to follow in the footsteps of my father who is a sworn police officer and has been for over 20 years. Florida State University was the University I decided to at- tend for its academic excellence and its vicinity to our state law makers. While in college I plan to intern in some capacity in the field and upon graduation I plan to pursue a career in Criminal Justice whether at the city, state, of federal level. This scholar- ship will assist in financing my education. Thank you very much again.

Warmest Regards,

Desiree Bueno bcpba.org
