For comparison, the oldest player on Michigan’s roster is Zak Irvin at 22 years old and his birthday is not until September making Abrams He has graduated twice but is still in school about 2 and a half years older than Michigan’s oldest player. This is the first time that State Farm will bestow an “Assist of the Year” honor in college basketball. Fans will determine the winner by entering the State Farm “Assist of the Year” web site (http://www.assistoftheyear.com) and voting daily throughout the competition. The State Farm “Assist of the Year” contest is a digital media contest that will feature 16 top assist plays, over four rounds, with each round featuring four plays. The winner of each round will face off in a final round to determine the State Farm “Assist of the Year”. Fans can vote for their favorite players using an interactive bracket by entering the “Assist of the Year” web site.
