British Airways The complete list can be found on, airlines Edinburgh Airport. * * * * * * * Transport from the airport to the town centre There are 2 ways to get to the Ibis Edinburgh Hotel Royal Mile and Ibis Edinburgh Hotel South Bridge from the airport: Bus #100 Airlink: Departing from the Airport you need to get off on last stop Waverley Bridge. Approximately 30 min journey. Tickets can be purchased from the driver. From Waverley Bridge there is approximately 10 min walking distance to Ibis Royal Mile and other 1 min to Ibis South Bridge Tram (only one in Edinburgh) - departing from the Airport and you need to get off on stop at St Andrew Square and from there is 10 min walking distance to Ibis Royal Mile and other 1 min to Ibis South Bridge: http://edinburghtrams.com/ http://www.edinburghairport.com/transport-links/travel-into-edinburgh This shows the airport bus stop in the centre of town at Waverley Bridge, just off Princes Street and beside the railway station. The airport shuttle bus leaves from immediately in front of the arrivals hall at the airport terminal building, and a return ticket to the city centre is £ 7 (single £ 4). Tickets are bought from the vending machines. The journey takes about 20 minutes as it’s only 6 miles (9 km). * * * * * * * Transport from the hotels to the conference venue http://www.lothianbuses.com The participants can make their way to North Bridge/South Bridge/Nicholson St (all one continuous street that simply changes names – this is the main street leading south from the east end of Princes Street and Old College is situated there). From there they can take a 14, 30 or 33 bus direct to Pollock Halls. The bus fare is £1.50 and the driver requires the exact change. From Kenneth Mackenzie House it would take no more than 15 minutes to walk, and from the hotels perhaps 20 - 25 minutes. .
