Secretary-General reported to the House a message from the Lok Sabha informing the Rajya Sabha that the Lok Sabha at its sitting held on the 20th February, 2009 had passed the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Bill, 2009, with the following amendments (passed by the Rajya Sabha on the 16th December, 2008):— Enacting Formula 1. Page 2, line 5,- For “fifty-ninth”, substitute “Sixtieth”. Clause - 1 2. Page 2, line 9, - For “2008”, substitute “2009. II. The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Bill, 2009, as passed by Lok Sabha, was laid on the Table. 12-02 p.m. 6. Report of the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture Shri Sitaram Yechury presented One Hundred Forty-ninth Report (in English and Hindi) of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture on Development of tourism infrastructure and amenities for the Commonwealth Games 2010.
