A Shopper’s Favorite Returns as Macy’s Brings Back 24-Hour Shopping and Extended Store Hours at Select Stores across the Country

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Round-the-clock shopping returns for another holiday season as Macy’s brings back its “24-hour” stores for three all-nighters beginning Wednesday, Dec. 21. Starting at 7 a.m., 14 Macy’s stores will stay open for 83 hours straight for non-stop shopping until Christmas Eve on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. A customer convenience during the hectic holiday season, last minute shoppers will also receive the gift of time at 27 additional Macy’s stores that will stay open until 2 a.m. on those same three nights. A shopper’s favorite since 2006, our 24-hour and more recent 2 a.m. stores gives shoppers extra time with the added bonus of stress-free shopping with less holiday crowds and shorter lines. This holiday season, Macy’s remains at the top of shoppers’ lists as a must-shop destination for gifts at any time of the day or night.

“Our 24-hour stores have been a hit with holiday shoppers for the past five years,” says Ron Klein, chief stores officer, Macy’s, Inc. “Our customers have told us when they want to shop, and after-hours and overnight shopping comes out a clear winner as the countdown to Christmas gets closer. “We’ve added 18 additional stores that will stay open until 2 AM for a total of 27 stores with extended hours that provide a convenience to our customers by giving them extra time in their day.”
