Jesse Hull and Molly Stanek of Imagine possess experience in and chemistry that span more than twenty years. In the last five of those years, they have designed, built, and managed small to large scale food productions systems and provided professional consultation in the growing aquaponics industry.

In addition to consulting on designs and improvements of small and large farms from coast to coast, Imagine Aquaponics has worked with the biggest names in the industry, developing an extensive network in both the hydroponic and aquaponic spheres. Jesse and Molly have partnered with Murray Hallam, Aleece Landis (TCLynx), Meg Stout, Gina Cavaliero, Sylvia Bernstein, Charlie Price, Rob Torcellini, JD & Tawnya Sawyer, and Glenn Martinez to conduct internationally attended trainings, seminars, and events. As founding members of the Aquaponics Association they held executive board positions, presented at annual conferences, established grant platforms, and currently remain on as advisors to the Aquaponic Association’s current leaders. Jesse & Molly also serve as instructors for the Aquaponics Institute, providing a large portion of the curriculum for the Institute’s instruction manual, and are returning presenters at the Victory Initiative’s Urban Course and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association’s Annual Energy Fair.

Jesse and Molly strongly believe in giving back to the global and local community. They have experience with natural disaster relief efforts across the US, as well as in Europe and Africa. Their involvement in establishing fruit tree parks and hundreds of raised bed in Milwaukee neighborhoods reconnects people with the empowering experience of growing their own food. Local elementary school students gain a unique understanding of aquaponics through educational system installations and lectures.

In 2011, Molly was cited in Sylvia Bernstein’s best-selling book ‘Aquaponic ’. In 2013, Imagine Aquaponics’ research and images were included in Meg Stout’s ‘Idiot’s Guide to Aquaponic Gardening’. In 2014, Jesse was heavily involved in the creation of the chapter on horticultural lighting for Friendly Aquaponic’s latest manual. Currently Imagine Aquaponics is designing and building educational aquaponic systems in Wisconsin schools, while collaborating on plans for new aquaponic farms in California, Colorado, Texas, Michigan, and Africa. ------Quote on next page…

“Imagine Aquaponics is very pleased to have procured a grant through the Aquaponics Association to fund the construction of an educational aquaponics system of our design within the rooftop of Hawley Environmental School. We look forward to working with teachers Casey Mcevilly, Lesley Zylstra, & Mark Delaney and the students of the Hawley Aquaponics Club. It is our belief that the refitted greenhouse at Hawley will become a beacon for other educators in realizing just how possible it is to establish and maintain a food growing system in our schools, to provide the platform for a curriculum that can teach our young people the value of science, technology, engineering and math in creating more sustainable and nutritious methods of food production.”
