A secondment opportunity has arisen for a 2 year fixed term post for a Territory Programme Manager. This post will be based in Glasgow at the offices of hub West Scotland in Elliot Street, reporting to the West hub Territory Programme Director. You will provide the Territory Programme Director and the Territory Partnering Team with programme management support across the full range of West hub Territory activity during the operational phase of the programme. Your role will be to support Territory Participants working with hub West Scotland Ltd (the hub Company) to ensure the successful delivery of primary care and community infrastructure projects. This will involve working with hub West Scotland and supporting Participants with projects through commercial and technical evaluations. Activities will include project scoping and costing, supply chain selection and project management processes complying with hub West Scotland operational processes and procedures. An Industry recognised Project Management qualification ie APM Level D or C or Prince2 Practitioner together with significant project management and procurement experience on capital projects is essential. The Central Decontamination Unit is a purpose built factory unit which processes 12 million single surgical instruments and other medical devices per annum; working 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All items are processed in accordance of the strict criteria set by the quality standards. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde requires a focused manager with consistent and meticulous attention to detail ensuring maintenance and compliance of the LRQA accreditation standards for the unit. To fit this role, you must have a qualification in decontamination and be eligible for membership of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences. You must have a robust track record in decontamination and a strong background of process improvement, quality, risk management and people management.
