Todd is a founding partner of archimania, a Memphis-based, award winning architecture firm known for its modern and innovative design solutions. Since the inception of the firm in 1995, progressive, sustainable, and contextual design has cities remained at the core of its work. As Principal-in-Charge 30 of Design, Todd offers clients fresh perspectives, new approaches, and creative design solutions for their projects. He is involved in every project from start to finish, and believes that no project is without an opportunity to create a better architecture regardless of size or budget. Todd was elected to the College of Fellows of the American 31 firms Institute of Architects for his notable contributions to the design field in 2019. During that same year, Todd was one of only nine university alumni named Mississippi State University’s Alumni Fellow of the Year. In April 2014, Todd was the recipient of the Francis Gassner Award for his contributions to design. Architect magazine ranked archimania as 8th best design firm in the Architect50 ranking 16 awards in 2018. This year, Architect magazine ranked archimania 24th in sustainability. His firm is currently working with Herzog & deMeuron on the new Brooks Museum in Memphis.     2021 Preschool Faculty KRISTINA LOFLIN • Preschool Support Facilitator Kristina Loflin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Meredith College located here in beautiful Raleigh, North Carolina. As a dance major and communications minor, much of her college years were spent working in the dance and cheerleading industries, coaching and teaching, as well as working behind the scenes in various arts administration roles. Upon graduation from college, Kristina established Xtreme Challenge Athletics which offered drop-in childcare, track out/summer camps and training classes that catered to cheerleaders and dancers. Kristina continues to work for Varsity Spirit, keeping her foot in the cheer and dance world. On the weekends, she can be found helping run competitions around the States or hanging out with her family and friends. Kristina loves working with students of all ages and helping them find their joy in learning. She is excited to continue to share her love of the arts and passion for education in her new role as the Preschool Support Facilitator for Arts Together. This success of this effort lies in the ability to create a deep and meaningful connection between the community and the park. In terms of scale and scope, the outreach associated with the Master Plan is unprecedented in city projects. This strategy presents a thoughtful, coordinated and ambitious approach to meaningful outreach and engagement. Parks are one of the most democratic spaces in a community. The City of Raleigh has made it a priority to create a diverse and equitable master planning process for Dix Park that serves all of Raleigh’s residents and beyond. The Outreach and Engagement Strategy is couched in an equity framework that details the objectives, implementation, and evaluation of an inclusive and accessible planning process. This strategy takes a multi-faceted and flexible approach to outreach and engagement. From traditional community meetings to experience-based events, programs and online participation, this strategy provides multiple channels to reach a broad and diverse audience. The goal is to provide a variety of opportunities for individuals to explore and shape the future of Dorothea Dix Park. Finally, this strategy was built around the schedule set forth by the Master Plan consultant, Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA).
