In the West Essex area, most roofs fall into one of three cat- egories. By far, the most popular is an asphalt shingle. These are generally rated for 30 years and come in a variety of colors. Singles are made of an asphalt material and coated with a granular material for color and surface protection. They can come “sculpted” to add depth and texture to the look of your roof.
