Minutes of Coxwold Annual Parish Meeting Wednesday 15th May 2019 1. Present: Cllrs. Le Gassicke (Chair), Robinson, Richardson, Rheinberg and Hewitt Acting Clerk Wyn-Jones County Cllr. Patmore Parishioners Perry and Le Gassicke 2. Apologies for absence: Dr. Tune 3. Introduction to the Parish Cllrs. for 2019-2020 (see above) 4.Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting 23rd. May 2018: These were passed as a true record. 5. Matters Arising Reference Description Action a)Traffic management A report was tabled by Cllr. Robinson. J Rob. There has been very little reduction in speed of SLG vehicles through the village and very little SR police presence. The planned question and answer session with the local MP did not occur and did not address the issues raised. Highways have been difficult to contact and unhelpful. A site visit has been arranged with one of the engineers for the 22nd. May to look at the proposed siting for the Vehicle Activated Sign it is planned to purchase. The max. cost will be £4650.00 plus VAT. ( VAT recoverable). A grant application will be completed. A sub-committee of the P.C. has been established to investigate traffic issues further. This will include looking at the types of vehicles passing through the village. It is also proposed to look at the Oulston to Yearsley road with respect to the number of HGVs using it and the width of the road.. Oulston and Yearsley Parish meeting representatives to be contacted Chris Stratton and Mick Eleonor. b)CVH building project Now completed at an approx.. cost of £70k. This was half funded through self-generated funds and half by successful grant applications. 7. Statement of Accounts This was endorsed and agreed MJH 8.Report from North Yorkshire This was presented by County Cllr. Patmore. CP County Council See attachment 9.Chairman and Clerks report See attached Cllr. Le Gassicke thanked all the SLG members of the Parish Council for their hard and work and commitment over the past year. CW-J 10. CPFA Report See attached. This was presented by the Chairperson Anne. Le Gassicke 11. These reports were presented and circulated J.Rob. Coxwold Art group and Local by Cllr. Robinson History Society. Bridge Club Average attendance 19 but always in groups of SLG four. 12.Any other Business Cobbles outside Alma House are subsiding as CW-J the gravel is being washed away by heavy rain. To be discussed with Newburgh. Meeting tba. 13. Date and time of APM The APM will be on 13th May 2020 .
