1th day: Arrival in Pesaro, city on the Gothic line. Pick-up at airport and transfer to Pesaro. Accommodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight. 2nd day: The “Olive” operation. Meet Churchill and the Allied Army following soldier footsteps. Breakfast. Your travel back in time starts discovering the history of the Gothic line and meeting the English Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Visit at the Museum in Montemaggiore al Metauro that remembers the “Olive” operation, an offensive battle against the Gothic Line. Accompanied by our guides wearing real war costumes on board of an original Jeep, you will follow the Canadian army footsteps until Montecchio Commonwealth War Cemetery. Then visit at the Canadian Memorial Q.204 in . Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight. 3rdday: Little villages and communities: , Tavoleto battle, War museums of Casinina and , Commonwealth cemetery. Breakfast. This day is dedicated to discover the little villages and communities along the Gothic line. Accompanied by our guide, in real war costumes, you will visit the Gothic line museum of Montegridolfo, built above a Germans observing site. Passing thought Tavoleto you will reach the war museum in Casini- na, hosting war findings and rare collections of original sets and equipment, and then Montescudo, where the ruins of the church of Saint Peter, bombed in September ’44, have been converted into the Museum of the Eastern Gothic Line and Peace Church. Transfer to Coriano and visit at one of the biggest Commonwealth soldier cemeteries of Italy. Back to the hotel. Nice walking night tour in the historical town and dinner in the oldest “Osteria” of Pesaro. Overnight. 4th day: The II world war cemetery of Gradara, San Bartolo hill…strategical war bunker and a nice taste of local products. Breakfast. Transfer to the medieval village of Gradara and visit of the Commonwealth Cemetery. Then you will reach a local farm on the San Bartolo hill, which preserves war bunkers and other evidences of the Gothic line, and enjoy a tasting of local products and wines. Lunch in a typical restaurant, where you could see other war sites. In the afternoon transfer to the Giogo Pass in Tuscany. Accommodation at the Hotel in Borgo San Lorenzo area, dinner and overnight. 5th day: Giogo pass, a jump inside the battle, army position and original war artifacts. Breakfast. Transfer to the “Passo del Giogo”, the main Tuscan part of the Gothic line, for a walk along the last German-Italian alley fortified line, theatre of a furious battle. You will visit the battle field walking around strategic military placements completely restored to recreate the atmosphere of the war. Stop Lunch. Visit of the Gothic line museum with a faithfully rebuilt German bunker and a rich collection of personal effects, uniforms and war equipment. Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight. 6th day: Departure Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bologna airport. End of services.
