I am responding to your request of July 4, 2019 for:
1. Use figures* such as traffic statistics for public parks that have life guards, from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 2019, specifically: � English Bay Beach, •Spanish Banks Beach, • Jericho Beach, and • Kitsilano Beach.
2. Any records regarding the number of drownings, from July 1, 2009 to July 1, 2019, specifically: • English Bay Beach, •Spanish Banks Beach, • Jericho Beach, and • Kitsilano Beach.
For part one of your request: all responsive records are attached.
*Please note, the figures are estimates made during the outdoor aquatics season by lifeguarding staff that record how many people they think are onsite at 12:00 pm,-3:00 pm and 7:30 pm which are then totaled for the day.
For part two of your �equest, there are zero drownings recorded for the period requ�sted.
