Currently Nickelodeon’s longest running show, its ground-breaking format, that allowed viewers to upload content, not only secured its huge ratings but helped spark a whole new genre of TV. The show will end its four year run with an unforgettable hour-long series finale ‘iGoodbye’ on Nickelodeon at 5.30pm. Viewers will see the first appearance of Carly Shay’s Air Force father Colonel Shay, played by David Chisum, in an emotional culmination of the much loved series. “I'm insanely proud to have created a TV show that's loved by so many people around the world, and I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with this remarkably talented cast for the past five years,” said Dan Schneider, iCarly Creator and Executive Producer. “For the finale, I’ve always known that I wanted to bring Carly’s dad home, so I could wrap up the series in a way that will be exciting for all iCarly fans." In ‘iGoodbye’, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) offers to take sister Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) to her last possible Air Force father-daughter dance when their dad Colonel Shay is not able to accompany her because of his overseas deployment. When Spencer gets ill and cannot take her Freddie (Nathan Kress) and Gibby (Noah Munck) try to cheer Carly up by offering to go with her. Colonel Shay surprises everyone when he arrives just in time to take Carly to the dance. When they return from their wonderful evening together, Carly is disappointed to learn her dad must return to Italy that evening and she is faced with a very difficult decision. iCarly will continue to air on the channel through 2013. Jennette Mc Curdy (iCarly’s Sam Puckett) has begun filming Nickelodeon's brand new live-action original comedy series Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande (Victorious’ Cat Valentine). The show will see the pair reprising their roles and finding themselves unlikely roommates who become teen entrepreneurs by starting their own after-school babysitting business. Following the iCarly finale at 6.30pm Nickelodeon premieres Marvin Marvin, a brand new half-hour series, starring Nickelodeon star and internet sensation Lucas Cruikshank in his first lead role since Fred Figglehorn. It follows the adventures of Marvin, an intergalactic alien teenager with special powers who clumsily tries to adapt to his new life on Earth. Marvin Marvin will air regularly every weeknight at 4.30pm from Monday 8th April. Marvin (Cruikshank) was sent to Earth by his parents in order to protect him from evil invaders on his home planet, Klooton. Under the supervision of his new human parents, Bob (Pat Finn, The Middle) and Liz (Mim Drew, The Practice), Marvin tries to adjust to life on Earth as a typical American teenager. Helping him navigate Earth’s unfamiliar social customs are Marvin’s human siblings Teri (Victory Van Tuyl, Supah Ninjas) and Henry (Jacob Bertrand, ParaNorman) and his mischievous grandfather, Pop-Pop (Casey Sander, The Big Bang Theory). As if teaching Marvin how to act human wasn’t hard enough, the family must also conceal his real identity from the world including Teri’s curious best friend, Brianna (Camille Spirlin). In the pilot episode unbeknownst to his human “parents” and to the chagrin of his human “sister,” Marvin sneaks out of the house to attend high school. Marvin Marvin is created and executive produced by Jon Ross (10 Things I Hate About You) and Jeff Bushell (Beverly Hills Chihuahua). Evan Weiss and Gary Binkow are also executive producing through their company, The Collective. The series is produced by Rocart, Inc.
