INTRODUCTION

The .number of postgraduate students enrolled at Lincoln College has risen from 2S in 1962. to 209 in 1988. The· majority of these students submits a thesis, dissertation .or major project report in the process of completing a qm\lification. This list supersedes Library Papers no 13. The scope .has been widened to include both postgraduate and undergraduate theses and dissertations prepared under the supervisionofa member of the CoJlege and which were deposited in the Librarybefore July J 988. With a few exceptions, on which restrictions. have been placed for various good reasons, theses and other project reports may be consulted in the Library by interested persons. They are also available on interlibrary loan on the understanding that access is limited to consultation within the borrowing library only. In order to protect the rights of authors, there are sometimes limitations on photocopying, but it is usually possible to arrange for prints to be supplied, at cost, for research or study purposes. Any enquires relating to access should be addre.ssed to: Reference Librarian, The Library, Lincoln Co1Jege, Canterbury 8150.
