Banyak perusahaan mengembangkan usahanya untuk memproduksi mie instant, menimbulkan penjualan mie instan di Indonesia mempunyai beragam merek. Berdasarkan pemeringkat pamona Guide merek mie instant yang paling enak di tahun 2019, di urutan pertama Ramen Ichi Ban Sapporo, berada di peringkat kedua merek Indomie Special Fried Curly Noodles, di peringkat ketiga Indomie Goreng Rasa Ayam Panggang, sedangkan di peringkat delapan Mie Sedaap Kari Instant. Berdasarkan pemeringkat Top Brand Award tahun 2018 fase I Indomie menduduki peringkatpertama merek Indomie dengan persentase 77,80% , Urutan kedua diduduki Mie Sedaap dengan nilai 10.20%, peringkat ketiga Merek Sarimi 4.40%. Berdasarkan pemeringkat Top Brand Award tahun 2019 fase I Indomie menduduki peringkat pertama merek Indomie dengan persentase 71,70%, Urutan kedua diduduki Mie Sedaap dengan nilai 17.60 %, peringkat ketiga Merek Sarimi 3.70%. Hasil penelitian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa varian produk dan citra merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mie sedaap pada mahasiswa STIE Professional Manajemen College Indonesia. Secara parsial varian produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mie sedaap pada mahasiswa STIE Professional Manajemen College Indonesia dan citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mie sedaap pada mahasiswa STIE Professional Manajemen College Indonesia. Led by Enterprise Singapore, the pop-up at Olinas Mall is the second in a series of pop-ups set up across four Asian cities – Manila, Tokyo, Bangkok and Jakarta – to assist businesses to expand to these new markets. 3. Olinas Mall, owned and managed by Singapore real estate company, Capitaland, was appointed as the official venue partner. Such collaboration enables smaller enterprises to leverage the established in-market networks of a bigger Singapore-affiliated industry player.     BAB I PENDAHULUAN 1.1 Latar Belakang Penelitian Secara global perubahan ekonomi berubah begitu cepat, perubahan tersebut menjadikan perekonomian dunia menjadi tidak stabil. Lembaga Pemeringkat Ekonomi (LPE) Global Fitch mengemukakan laju perkembangan ekonomi di Asia pada tahun 2012 menurun menjadi 6.4% dari tahun sebelumnya 7.4%, penurunan tersebut dikarenakan melemahnya laju perekonomian dunia. Salah satu faktor dari perubahan tersebut antara lain krisis keuangan. Krisis keuangan yang terjadi di Eropa yaitu akibat dari utang yang berkembang menjadi krisis pangan dan komoditi dunia (sumber: http://us.finance.detik.com akses: 6/5/2012, 20:03). Berkembangnya krisis pangan dan komoditi menjadikan industri makanan dan minuman (food and beverage) dunia ikut berkembang dengan meningkatnya permintaan pangan dunia. Industri makanan dan minuman (food and beverage) yang sedang berkembang di dunia yakni industri mie instan. Global Industry Analysts (GIA) mengumumkan laporan global pasar mie instan sangat komprehensif. Pasar global untuk mie instan diperkirakan akan mencapai 139,2 miliar bungkus pada tahun 2015. Faktor utama yang mendorong pertumbuhan pasar mie instan yaitu biaya rendah, berbagai macam rasa, dan waktu memasak yang minimal.
