S. Kidman & Co Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated cattle station manager for Innamincka Station, located in the far north east corner of , approximately 35 km from the Queensland border.

Innamincka is a breeding and fattening property that carries around 13,000 head of cattle running on 13,550 km2 of country, comprising 20% floodplains of the Cooper Creek, 20% stony Mitchell grass tablelands and 60% sand dunes and swales. The property has a comfortable homestead environment set in established gardens. The station infrastructure comprises 23 main paddocks and 10 sets of steel drafting/ trucking yards. Stock water is supplied from 16 bores, 25 dams and numerous waterholes, 6 equipped with pumps and pipelines.

Reporting to the Pastoral Manager you will be responsible for leading and directing station operations and financial performance.

The successful applicant will have:

 Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of large cattle herds, landcare, people and safety management, property maintenance and financial management.  At least 5 years’ experience in a station leadership role  Experience in coaching, mentoring and leading a team  Well-developed verbal and written communication skills  A Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence & Motorcycle licence  A Firearms licence (Class A and Class B).

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant for this important position within the Kidman group. Expected commencement in January 2015.
