S. C. R. NO. 65 Page 1 1 WHEREAS, Justin McBride began calf riding at the age of three 2 years. He learned if you get bucked off, get right back on, a 3 philosophy he has followed his entire life. His father was a bull 4 rider as was his grandfather, Eddie Boren, who was killed in a bull 5 riding event in 1978. Justin rode his first bull at age 11. 6 Despite being a top bareback horse rider in high school, Justin 7 McBride preferred riding bulls; and 8 WHEREAS, in March 1999 at the age of 19, Justin McBride won his 9 first PBR event in Odessa, Texas.
