Placements: About 6-8 students got placed in the CSE branch. The highest salary package offered in this branch is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Grifeo and Collabera. No company comes for internships. Disclaimer: This PDF is auto-generated based on the information available on Shiksha as on 23-Sep-2021. Infrastructure: The campus provides facilities like transport, library, computing resource, hostel, canteen, classrooms, labs, etc. Facilities and infrastructure are good. It has a huge infrastructure of approximately 4 lacs sq ft of built-up area on approximately 11 acres of land at Amhara, Bihta Patna. Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but not that good. Some teachers are less qualified. This course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult in this college. Other: I have chosen this course because it is the future. R Rahul Singh | B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023 Verified Reviewed on 7 Apr 2021 3.6 Placements 3 Infrastructure 5 Faculty & Course Curriculum 3 Crowd & Campus Life 4 I am partially dissatisfied because of faculty members. Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed from our branch, and even it can be more or less every year. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6.1 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are Gammon India, Collabera, Devdhara Construction, etc. Almost 60% of the students got internships from our course in some companies like Solon India Pvt Ltd, etc. Infrastructure: For our civil engineering course, almost all labs are available like a levelling lab, material testing lab, soil testing lab, ranging lab, water resource lab and design and drawing lab. Almost all classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, and there is also a huge library in our college. Students can find and get any book whatever they are interested in. Faculty: Most of the teachers here are well qualified, knowledgeable and also helpful. Their teaching quality is above average but not much good. Our course and syllabus are almost relevant to the curriculum. The curriculum makes students almost 60% ready for the industry, but you have to prepare more on your own. Other: I chose civil engineering because I can have a creative career in it. In this branch, we get to know how buildings, bridges and some other structures are constructed. I want our college to improve the AutoCAD section in our department to achieve more. Events are also organised in our college from time to time. The connectivity of our college is somewhat better but not atmost. The campus surroundings are very much good, and you can play games in which you are interested. S Sachin Verma | B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of Verified 2022 Reviewed on 1 Aug 2020 4.4 Placements 5 Infrastructure 3 Faculty & Course Curriculum 5 Crowd & Campus Life 4 It is a good college for B.Tech course. Placements: Placements for our senior batch are good. About 70-80% of the students got placement opportunity in good companies like TCS, Jaro Education, Amazon, Supertech, Outlook, IBM, Wipro, TCS and Capgemini. About 70% of the students got an internship in good companies. Infrastructure: The quality of food served in the college canteen is tasty. Medical facilities are available at the time of emergency in the college. Proper care of student is done in case of any injury. Sports and games facility is available on a regular basis to all the students. Faculty: Many faculty members in our college are good at teaching. They all are highly knowledgeable. They also provide the students with proper practical knowledge so that students can learn about practical work in this field. They also use new technologies, and they all are doing a good job. Other: Scholarships are given on the criteria for all the students who are eligible for it. Anonymous | B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of Verified 2019 Reviewed on 29 Sep 2020 1.6 Placements 1 Infrastructure 2 Faculty & Course Curriculum 3 Crowd & Campus Life 1 I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members and placements of our college. Placements: Only a few students got placed from our entire batch. Only two students got selected with a salary package of 1.2 LPA, and the company which offered it is not much good. Our college does not provide internships, and students have to search for internships on their own. For the batch 2015-2019, internships were not provided, and they have searched and done internships on their own. Our college does not provide placements, or it invites only two to three companies to offer placements with a salary package of 1.2 LPA. So, if you get selected, you don't join in that company because of less salary package. But yet, our college displays your photo on the college website that you got selected through campus placements. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the departments are also good. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are good. The library is well maintained and has a centralised Disclaimer: This PDF is auto-generated based on the information available on Shiksha as on 23-Sep-2021. air-conditioning facility. Wi-Fi facility is available only for hostel students and faculty members and not for day scholars. The hostel is very bad and is not according to the fee charged. The food served here is very bad. Hostel staff members are very unhygienic, and their service is the worst. Faculty: A few faculty members are very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable, but some faculty members don't know anything. They are only B.Tech holders, and they don't even have an M.Tech degree. Their teaching quality is the worst. Other: I have chosen this course because the technical degree with a combination of the core field is very good. The best thing about our course is the combination of electrical and electronics. I wish that our college should change some faculty members of our course, who have insufficient knowledge and degrees. Events and fests conducted here are very good. The campus crowd and campus surroundings are very good. Our college tells you that it will provide scholarships, but it doesn't. The Bihar government provides scholarships only for OBC, SC and ST students and not for general category students. Extracurricular activities are not conducted, so don't expect more about this college. Bapat Seismologist and Former Head Earthquake Engineering Research, CWPRS, Pune. Message It gives me great pleasure to write a message for Annual Report of LNJPIT, Chapra. The Annual Report is expected to summarise in short about the achievements and lacuna, including mistakes and failures to some extent. The Chapra College Principal and the faculty are so much qualified and experts that any of them could write Message for Annual Report. The college is spread over an extensive area with some important Departments. Incidentally, I had the occasion to witness the changes and order of significance of various departments. During my educative years, the Civil Engineering was number one, subsequently with industrialization, the electric and mechanical departments came in the front, which was then followed by electronics and communication, then arrived the King Computer but incidentally this was also followed by Information Technology and Satellite Communication. I am happy to say that our Chapra College had been keeping pace with all these developments and accordingly improving the functioning of all departments. As the development progressed the methods of teaching have also been changing. We have an excellent connectivity and various web sites are easily accessible to students.
