Wembley WW1 Memorial Below are the Name, Rank and Service Unit of those who are remembered on the 1914-18 War Memorial in the dedicated chapel, elsewhere in the Church or in the burial ground of St John the Evangelist, Wembley. In response to the sacrifice, families, friends and community dedicated the Chapel, the memorial in the grounds and the organ to their memory and honour. Research has produced War Service histories of many of these men with links to Wembley, but any additional information would be gratefully received to build a fuller history of the local men who died.
