Nota Técnica Nº 2 Reflexões Sobre O Comportamento Da
NOTA TÉCNICA Nº 2 REFLEXÕES SOBRE O COMPORTAMENTO DA EPIDEMIA DA COVID-19 SEGUNDO AS REGIÕES DE SAÚDE DO ESTADO DO AMAZONAS. 1 - INTRODUÇÃO O Instituto “Leônidas e Maria Deane - ILMD”, em conjunto com o Observatório Covid-19, ambos da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz – FIOCRUZ, em continuidade à proposta de contribuição ao estado do Amazonas e seus municípios, está disponibilizando a sua segunda Nota Técnica, cujo conteúdo aborda o comportamento da epidemia da COVID- 19, com enfoque nas macrorregiões do Estado e regionais de saúde, frente a um olhar da magnitude e ocorrência espaço-temporal dos casos notificados de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave – SRAG, correlacionados à etiologia pelo Sars-Cov-2. O foco do presente estudo encontra-se direcionado à análise do comportamento da curva epidêmica, tendo como principal indicador a taxa de incidência de SRAG, onde se estima as tendências a curto e a médio prazo, por macrorregiões e regionais de saúde do Estado. Para eliminar o possível viés desses aglomerados, sua capital Manaus foi trabalhada de forma isolada, assim como, para as regionais, foram excluídas as notificações que tinham como local de residência a capital do Estado. Para a análise espacial foram utilizadas as três macrorregiões do Estado, compreendendo: a Macrorregião CENTRAL, que abrange as regionais de saúde: Entorno de Manaus e Alto Rio negro, Rio Negro e Solimões e regional do rio Purus; Macrorregião LESTE, com as regionais de saúde: Médio Amazonas, Baixo Amazonas e Rio Madeira; e, Macrorregião OESTE, com as regionais de saúde Rio Juruá, -

A SURVEY OF THE Anopheles MOSQUITOES (DIPTERA: CULICIDAE) ALONG THE ACRE AND PURUS RIVERS, AMAZON BASIN, BRAZIL Robert H. ZIMMERMAN1, Francisco Xavier PAULINO2, Mercia de ARRUDA3 ABSTRACT — From January 19 to February 25, 1997 an entomological survey of the seringais and larger towns along the Acre and Purus rivers was made as part of the project “Revisitando a Amazônia de Carlos Chagas; da Borracha a Biodiversidad”. Eleven anopheline species and 1285 specimens were collected landing on human baits. The four most abundant species were Anopheles albitarsis s.l. (n=778), A. darlingi (n=359), A. rangeli (n=69) and A. oswaldoi (n=60). A total of 252 larvae were collected of which 10 anopheline species were identified. The most abundant species collected were A. albitarsis s.l. (n=88), A. deaneorum (n=45) and A. triannulatus (n=40). The low numbers of Anopheles collected and the absence of the principal malaria vector A. darlingi at the seringais sites suggests that they arc not high risk malarious areas. Other Diptera collected were Culex sp., Mansonia titillans, Mansonia pseudotitillans, Psorophora ciliata, Psorophora sp., Coquillettidia (Rhynchotaenia) sp., Simulium amazonicum and S. sanguineum. Foram capturados no processo de pouso, um total de 1.285 anofelinos pertencentes a 11 espécies. -

Accepted cultural customs and the local dietary and monetary needs need to be taken into account in conservation programs, and when implementing federal laws related to consumption and fishing methods. This study was conducted around the Purus River, a region known for the consumption and illegal trade of turtles. The objective of this study was to quantify the illegal turtle trade in Tapauá and to understand its effect on the local economy. Methods: This study was conducted in the municipality of Tapauá in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. To estimate turtle consumption, interviews were conducted over 2 consecutive years (2006 and 2007) in urban areas and isolated communities. The experimental design was randomized with respect to type of household. To study the turtle fishery and trade chain, we used snowball sampling methodology. -

Abstract The innumerous logistical problems encountered during the implementation of the gas pipeline Urucu – Coari – Manaus, located in the Amazon forest, connecting the Base Operations Geologist Pedro de Moura in Urucu to the refinery Isaac Sabbá - Reman, in the city of Manaus, contributed considerably for PETROBRAS to seek non conventional solutions in the construction and assembly of pipelines in our country. Among these solutions, there is the technique of distributing pipes through cargo helicopters. The need for the usage of this technique, innovative in Brazil, comes from the lack and/or insufficiency of land access from Solimões River to the gas pipeline main route, and the large quantities of flooded areas and/or floodplain, and also the type of soil, that together with the high index of rainfall in the region, makes the soil fully inappropriate to the traffic of heavy equipment. -

More than 990 suspected cases have been reported in the ongoing outbreak of which over 110 are confirmed. At least two fatalities have been recorded. Affected municipalities include Anori, Beruri, Careiro da Varzea, Humait, Itacoatiara, Iranduba, Itapiranga, Jutai, Manaus, Manacapuru, Novo Airao, Parintins, Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira, Tefe in Amazonas; Alto Alegre, Amajari, Boa Vista, Caracari, Caroebe, Canta, Iracema, Pacaraima, Rorainopolis, Sao Joao da Baliza and Uiramuta in Roraima. Both the states share border with Venezuela where an outbreak of measles is ongoing since June 2017. Measles is caused by a highly contagious virus that spreads from person-to-person via infected droplets. Outbreaks occur frequently in under-vaccinated populations. Pesca 4(2): i-viii, 2009 ISSNe 2175-3008 ______________________________________________________________________________________________ INFORMES SOBRE A PESCA EM MANACAPURU, AMAZONAS, BRASIL Leonardo Teixeira de SALES*, Wagner Gondim CAVALCANTI-FILHO Departamento de Ciências do Mar, Universidade Federal do Piauí-UFPI *e-mail: [email protected] Recebido em: 15 de julho de 2009 A cidade de Manacapuru, fundada em 1894, está localizada numa altitude de 34 metros acima do nível do mar, na latitude 3º 18’ 33’’ S e longitude 60º 33’ 21” W, estabelecendo limites com os municípios de Anamã, Beruri, Caapiranga, Iranduba, Manaquiri e Novo Airão. Seu clima tropical chuvoso e úmido é amenizado por alta pluviosidade e ventos alísios do Atlântico, chegando a ocorrer leve queda de temperatura durante a noite, sua temperatura média é de 26ºC, com variações entre máxima de 31ºC e mínima de 23ºC, com duas estações distintas, verão a partir de maio e inverno a partir de dezembro. SERVIÇO GEOLÓGICO DO BRASIL - CPRM DIRETORIA DE HIDROLOGIA E GESTÃO TERRITORIAL – DHT SUPERINTENDÊNCIA REGIONAL DE MANAUS BOLETIM DE MONITORAMENTO HIDROMETEOROLÓGICO DA AMAZÔNIA OCIDENTAL Boletim nº 20 - 21 de maio de 2021 - BOLETIM DE MONITORAMENTO HIDROMETEOROLÓGICO DA AMAZÔNIA OCIDENTAL O objetivo do presente boletim é fornecer informações hidrológicas atualizadas das principais estações hidrometeorológicas da Amazônia Ocidental, a serem utilizadas para os diversos fins que se fizerem necessários. Para tanto, são fornecidos dados provenientes da Rede Hidrometeorológica Nacional, operada em parceria entre ANA e CPRM, apresentando-se uma breve comparação entre o comportamento hidrológico atual e o observado ao longo das respectivas séries históricas. Também são apresentados o diagnóstico e a previsão climática fornecidos pelo SIPAM – Sistema de Proteção da Amazônia. Comportamento das estações fluviométricas monitoradas De acordo com o comportamento atual dos níveis dos rios, em comparação aos dados observados nas respectivas séries históricas apresentados nos cotagramas ao final do boletim, verifica-se os seguintes padrões: Bacia do rio Branco: As estações do rio Branco, Boa Vista e Caracaraí, apresentam processo de enchente, com níveis considerados altos para o atual período do ano. Bacia do rio Negro: O nível do rio Negro continua elevado em todas as estações monitoradas da calha principal do rio. Em São Gabriel da Cachoeira, o rio atingiu a cheia recorde, estabelecendo 2021 como a maior cheia da série histórica da estação. Em Manaus, o rio segue em processo de enchente severa subindo a uma média de 3 cm por dia na última semana.
