One day a year, for families to celebrate high endeavour. We wander home soul satisfied, with just a trace of tear, Ah! But we’ll be back there is no doubt, in just another year. The Clans are represented, as Banners they unfold, The music it is ancient, as old, as old, as old. Though years they pass, and we wither and we age, They watch the graceful dancers, in kilts of red and green, The 4th. Saturday in each New Year, will ever be the gauge. Who step and prance, and posture, surely just a dream.
