Congratulations, Kristi Ramon, for being Texas Rural Teacher of the Year. You truly have made a difference in the lives of many students as well as my own. Karla Flowers, Spearman 1st Grade Teacher Kristi was my mentor teacher 18 years ago. She had only taught 5 years at that point. She took me under her wing as a qual- ified mentor because of her natural gift for teaching and her willingness to share that gift. She is one of the most diplomatic, fair and positive people I have ever known. I am honored to work with her and call her a friend. I continue to use her as a valuable re- source for my classroom. She is wise be- yond her years and always has a solution to any problem. Kristi has touched many lives because of her passion for what she does. She has always gone above and beyond, and never complained. We are blessed to have her in our school district! Congratulations Kristi! You deserve this great honor, hands down! Jennifer Nollner, Spearman 1st Grade Teacher My mother's love and dedication for teaching children is remarkable and rare. She performs her job with such passion and spirit, and truly makes a difference in the lives of all those she teaches. I sincerely be- lieve if there were more teachers like my mother, the world would be a better place. My mother is an inspiration to me in so many ways -- as a mother, as a grandmother, as a friend, and as a professional. This award Weather Forecast could not have gone to a better candidate.
