This production looks at songs used in animated movies from 1989 until 2015 and my initial song list would have lasted for roughly seven hours! I thought that it would have been an impossibility to expect someone to sit for that long to listen to songs let alone have the cast struggling for breath with the enormity of it. That being said, the cast have worked so hard for me to try and achieve what I could see in my minds eye. They have done me proud and I am very, very pleased with the result. My thanks go to my wonderful cast for all their hard work and dedication, this show has incorporated some of the kids from Hanham Players Youth Group which is amazing. I would also like to thank the stage crew, I’m usually working with them but occasionally I take a break to direct something and they have built me a fantastic set and helped to make so many props (even been prepared to tread the boards). Finally thanks to you, our audience for your long term support; I hope you will enjoy this production and continue to attend future productions. Now sit back and take a nostalgic journey through the silver screen. If you know the lyrics I invite you to please JOIN IN! Charlotte x Forthcoming productions… Our next production is Mother Goose in January 2017 directed by David Pascoe-Clark. If you fancy joining us (or know someone who might) then please come along and meet the team - no experience necessary! .
