Press Release September 18, 2007 Ericsson to host multimedia services for Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems in the US Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems, a subsidiary of Dobson Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:DCEL) and Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC), the world’s leading telecommunications supplier, today announced they have signed two contracts for hosted multimedia services: AnswerTunes, a ringback tones service and content downloads. The new service AnswerTunes allows Dobson customers in more than 70 wireless markets to choose from a catalog of thousands of songs to replace the traditional ring heard by callers when they dial a number. On top of that they will also have access to a huge catalogue of content, including ringtones, games, images and video clips to download to their phones. The contracts are the third and fourth managed services hosting contracts Ericsson has been awarded by Dobson Cellular Systems since 2006. Ericsson also provides Dobson with a hosted prepaid real time charging service including content and game downloads as well as Napster Mobile. The ringback tones service will be hosted on Ericsson’s innovative Service Delivery Platform (SDP). Thomas K. Roberts, Chief Marketing Officer for Cellular One, says: “We are pleased to partner with Ericsson to deliver AnswerTunes and downloadable content to our customer base. Offering subscribers a wide array of value-added services has been a key differentiator for Cellular One.” Ericsson is providing an end-to-end ringback service, which includes systems integration, hosting and managing the day-to-day operations of the service. In this paper the strategies and application for the 4G services of all the operators is discussed and compared. Main point which is tested and discussed in this paper is the quality of service offered by all operators according to their respective clients relative to the application of the strategies pertaining to mobile internet services, and in particular 4G and 4G+ services. The data is organized and gathered according to the SERVQUAL model and his paper is only one piece of a bigger study made in Albanian Telecommunications’ Market. Primary data is analyzed using SPSS. The findings are true and representative of the Albanian market, according to the validity test and the findings. On Monday, May 17, 2004, AISP.4-HAC submitted its Initial Report regarding the wireless industry’s hearing aid compliance efforts. This report was filed pursuant to the reporting requirements adopted by the Commission in its August 14, 2003, Report and Order in WT Docket No. 01-309, and submitted on behalf of the members of the AISP.4-HAC. At the time of the report, the Incubator included participation by twenty-nine (29) wireless equipment manufactures and service providers. Since the filing of the Initial Report, AISP.4-HAC has added a new member, ALLTEL Communications, Inc. What is Conversational Advertising? Conversational Advertising is the agreed messaging-based communication between the consumer and a brand to deliver consumer benefits to the consumer. Conversational Advertising capitalizes on the opted-in database developed by the brand to establish an ongoing relationship with the consumer. In doing so, the concept evolves beyond the traditional campaign ideology that has become the cornerstone of advertising. Campaigns, by their very nature, represent an occasional touch-point with the consumer, and therefore are limited in their ability to encourage the ongoing interaction and engagement that brands desire. As the name suggests, Conversational Advertising introduces a discursive element to what has been until now, a largely time-restricted engagement opportunity during a campaign. In the digital age, engagement is critical. Once a consumer has opted in and become engaged, it then becomes counterintuitive to send an occasional communication. The effectiveness of the opt-in model is to maintain that relationship between the brand and the consumer, measured by the Cost Per Engagement (CPE). An engaged consumer also represents a higher response rate. By generating an opt-in database, the likelihood of developing a response from a consumer into a conversation increases dramatically. Conversational Advertising addresses the existing messaging practices which are fleeting and largely ineffective beyond the realms of the campaign. By encouraging the brand to regularly communicate with the consumer this ensures that it remains “front of mind”. In effect, Conversational Advertising will have the impact of a web site – a constant in the view of the consumer – whilst providing user data on three levels. -
