The Coyotes won the last match up between the two teams on Nov. 2, 2019 in Wilson Field House, 3-2; 23-25, 9-25, 25-20, 25-23, 9-15. Before that loss, the Braves had one 2020 KCAC Standings nine straight against KWU. The first meeting between the two teams happened on Sept. 28, 1979 in Salina. McPherson College 2-2 5-4 Avila University 1-1 4-5 - Under head coach Melissa Blessington, the Braves are 5-1 in KCAC openers and have won five straight. The last time the Braves lost in a KCAC opener, was on Sept. 3, 2014 against Friends University in Wichita, Kan. OU lost to the Falcons, 3-0; Sterling College 1-2 11-3 25-20, 25-11, 25-13. The Coyotes snapped their two match winning streak Ottawa University 0-0 3-2 on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Tabor College in Mabee Arena. Maddy Beckett led KWU in kills with 16, Cortney Hanna Uni. of Saint Mary -- -- finished with 31 assists and 11 digs, Emily Monson had 15 digs, and Elizabeth Hardacre led the team with seven blocks (4 BS/3 BA). Bethel College 0-1 0-6 York College 0-3 1-5 - Morgan Bryand leads the team in service aces per set (0.4), Maddy Beckett is the Coyotes leader in kills per set (4), Cort- ney Hanna is KWU’s leader in assists per set (8.0), Emily Monson is the team’s leader in digs per set (6.2), and Elizabeth 2020 KCAC Coaches Poll Hardacre is the Coyotes leader in blocks per set (0.9). Rank Team Points (FPV) - Emily Onson is ranked third in the NAIA in total digs (243) and ninth in digs per set (6.2).
