Being As it was Easter weekend, it was decided Easter Sunday we were not sure how we stay off highways as much as possible many takers we would have, but there – so 11 bikes with pillion Lyn hit the back were 10 people on 8 bikes, including Ron roads to Moore Park, across country to W’s son, Geoff on his Harley, and we Rosedale road, and up to Jo's Roadhouse welcomed a new rider – Bill? on his V for a break – here we turned off and Star. After a quick ride briefing we headed headed back through Bucca, and on to along the Bundaberg Gin Gin Rd to the Bullyard – across the road, through Wallaville turnoff. Taking in a few twists, Bungadoo to Wallaville – here we had curves and large hills we arrived at the lunch at the pub – leaving there we went Bruce Highway near Red Bank Gully. We headed back towards Gin Gin and turned left into Skyrings Reserve Rd. We took the loooooooong way around to Gin Gin via Tirroan, and met up with Lyn and Brian on her V Star for some morning tea. After a leisurely morning tea we headed up Mt Perry Road at a gentle pace to the lookout, (see photo) where Brian’s brother to the bakery at Gin Gin for coffee and met us for a chat. We had lunch at the Mt sweets – here we met up with Karen Perry Pub, then meandered back to Gin whose brand new Suzuki Boulevard C90 Gin (well some of us, without red buttons, was being kindly run in by Steve. meandered!!) for our customary ice-cream Ron W before heading our separate ways. At this point some of our riders thought, I know where I am, I know where we’re going!! WRONG! Just to totally confuse More photos from the AGM in Penrith. them we turned left, on a lovely little road that wanders and meanders through a series of creek crossings, before opening up for a run back to the Isis Highway, just east of Biggenden. After some 20 kms of switch backs, confusion reigned and the fresh air had tummy rumblings drowning out the pull of the motors, so Biggenden was a welcome sight, as was testified by the riders that hadn’t had a meal at the Pub before and order (Bloody Big Burgers). They even managed to get through them!! So with the ride height of our trusty steeds considerably lowered, we headed off on What did they get up to???? the Coringa Rd through to Paradise Dam Rd and back to the Booyal-Dallarnil Rd. I must add at this point that I think it’s necessary to issue the “Tail end Charlie” in this case well looked after by Steve and Karen, with a walking stick or some other pointy object so they can prod pillion passengers that have gone to sleep!! No names mentioned. Just as well it was only the bloated pillions that dozed off! We turned right and Geoff then led us back to Childers on the Isis Highway.
