    BYLAW NUMBER 2020/18 BYLAW NO. 2020/18 is a bylaw of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10, in the Province of Alberta, for the purpose of adopting the Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (“ICF”) between the County of Wetaskiwin No.10, the Summer Village of Grandview, the Summer Village of Norris Beach, the Summer Village of Crystal Springs, and the Summer Village of Poplar Bay (the “Municipalities”) all in the Province of Alberta. WHEREAS The County of Wetaskiwin No.10, the Summer Village of Grandview, the Summer Village of Norris Beach, the Summer Village of Crystal Springs, and the Summer Village of Poplar Bay have common boundaries; and, AND WHEREAS The Municipalities share an interest to provide services in an efficient and collaborative manner, and, AND WHEREAS Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, a municipality must establish an ICF with other municipalities which share common boundaries; NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10, duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows: PART 1 – TITLE AND DEFINITIONS 1.1 This bylaw shall be known as the “South Pigeon Lake Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework.” 1.2 Wherever the singular or masculine is used throughout this bylaw, the same shall be construed to mean the plural or feminine respectively where applicable. 1.3 Definitions for the purposes of this bylaw include: (1) “Act” means the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26 as amended; (2) “Terms of Reference” means the terms of reference

    CARDSTON COUNTY IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 728.2019 BEING a bylaw of Catdston County in the Province of Alberta, to adopt the Cardston County and the Lethbridge County lntermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement. WHEREAS Section 631 and Section 708.28 of the Municipal Government Act requires that municipalities develop an Intermtinicipal Framework Agreement that identifies services provided by each municipality and the funding arrangements for these services; and WHEREAS Cardston County and Lethbridge County share a common municipal boundary; and WHEREAS Cardston County and Lethbridge County share common interests, independently provide services which are used by citizens of both municipalities and work together to provide shared services which benefit citizens of both communities; and WHEREAS Cardston County and Lethbridge County have established certain agreements pertaining to shared municipal services and have established an intermunicipal development plan agreement; and WHEREAS Cardston County and Lethbridge County have developed an lntermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement and desire to execute the agreement; NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26 as amended, the Council of Cardston County duly assembled hereby enacts the following: 1.0 Short Title 1.1 This Bylaw may be known as the Cardston County and Lethbridge County lntermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement. 2.0 Intermunici al Collaboration FrameworkA reenzent in E ect 2.1 This Cardston County and Lethbritlgc County lntermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement, which is attached to this Bylaw, shall come into full force and effect upon third and final reading thereof. On July 14, 2015, FortisAlberta Inc. (FortisAlberta) applied to the Alberta Utilities Commission for approval of an electric franchise agreement with the Summer Village of Sunset Point. The application was filed according to Rule 029,1 and included a copy of the franchise agreement, municipal franchise fee rider schedule, and the electric franchise application form. 2. Notice of the proposed franchise agreement was advertised on June 23, 2015 in the Community Voice. No objections or concerns related to the proposed franchise agreement were received. 3. The proposed franchise agreement, attached as Appendix 1, is based on the standard electric franchise agreement template approved in Decision 2012-255,2 has a term of 20 years or less, and will be effective January 1, 2016. Sunset Point has commenced reading of Bylaw No. 300 approving the franchise agreement. 4. The proposed franchise fee of zero per cent, as shown on the municipal franchise fee rider schedule, attached as Appendix 2, maintains the current franchise fee. 5.
