Audi MediaInfo Motorsport Communications Virginia Brusch Tel: +49 151 52817968 E-mail: [email protected] www.audi -mediacenter.com/en Appendicitis! Pietro Fittipaldi to replace Jamie Green in DTM at Misano • Audi factory driver Jamie Green will not be racing in Italy due to illness • Pietro Fittipaldi takes over the Briton’s cockpit on short notice Neuburg a. d. Donau, June 6, 2019 – Audi driver Jamie Green has to skip the DTM races at Misano (Italy) due to acute appendicitis. Pietro Fittipaldi will take over his cockpit at Audi Sport Team Rosberg. “The symptoms appeared all of a sudden during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dieter Gass. “We all wish Jamie a speedy recovery. He’ll definitely not be fit for racing again this weekend, so we’re happy that Pietro is able to stand in for him on such short notice.” The 22-year-old grandson of two-time Formula One World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi is contesting the 2019 DTM in an Audi RS 5 DTM of the customer team WRT Team Audi Sport. In addition, the Brazilian is a test and reserve driver for the Haas Formula One team and would originally not have been on the grid at Misano. “For us, Pietro is the best solution,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dieter Gass. “He knows the car and showed strong performances in his first two DTM events.” Fittipaldi scored points twice and achieved a new lap record at Hockenheim. – End – The Audi Group, with its brands Audi, Ducati and Lamborghini, is one of the most successful manufacturers of automobiles and motorcycles in the premium segment.

Nico Müller and Robin Frijns from Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline completed a podium sweep for Audi. A change of weather conditions at the Lausitzring: After last weekend’s hot races and extremely high temperatures on Friday, it started to rain on Saturday shortly before qualifying. Championship leader Nico Müller clinched his first pole position of the season on the wet track ahead of René Rast, Robin Frijns and Mike Rockenfeller (Audi Sport Team Phoenix). Müller held a commanding lead in the early stages of the race on wet weather tires but lost his lead after pitting for slicks too late. Having dropped back to fifth, the leader of the standings was able to fight his way back to second. René Rast’s race went the other way around. “My start was very bad, and I went through the gravel at one stage,” said the defending champion. “It was crucial to pit at the right time and then take a risk. I was able to overtake Philipp (Eng), Marco (Wittmann) and finally Robin (Frijns) with good moves. I used push-to-pass and DRS at the right moments.

Communications Motorsport Daniel Schuster Tel: +49 841 89-38009 E-mail: [email protected] www.audi-mediacenter.com One-two-three win for Audi in the DTM finale • Audi wins Sunday’s race at Hockenheim as well • Jamie Green runner-up in the Championship with fourth win this season • Ten victories in 18 races for the Audi RS 5 DTM Ingolstadt/Hockenheim, October 18, 2015 – In the finale at Hockenheim, in front of 135,000 spectators (throughout the weekend), Audi won the two last races of the DTM season and on Sunday repeated last year’s one-two-three victory. On clinching his fourth success this season, the Briton Jamie Green in the Hoffmann Group Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Rosberg secured the runner-up’s spot in the Championship. 18 races, ten victories, 21 podiums, ten fastest race laps and eight pole positions: The Audi RS 5 DTM was the strongest car in the 2015 DTM season. Still, in the end, this tally was only enough for the brand with the four rings to take second, third and fourth place in the drivers’ classification, second place among the manufacturers, and third place in the teams’ classification. Jamie Green was 19 points short of winning the drivers’ title and the margin in the title race of the manufacturers’ classification, with 602 versus 595 points, was even smaller. “This was a bitter-sweet ending of the season for us,” said Dieter Gass, Head of DTM at Audi Sport. “The fans got to see an impressive performance of the Audi RS 5 DTM and a superb one-two-three win once more.

Donau, September 9, 2020 – Walter Röhrl, Frank Biela, Laurent Aiello, Mattias Ekström, Martin Tomczyk, Miguel Molina, Edoardo Mortara, René Rast, Jamie Green: The list of Audi drivers who have won a DTM race at the Nürburgring reads like a small “Who’s who” of touring car racing. Over the next two weekends (September 12–13 and September 19–20), there will be four more opportunities to be added to the list of winners. The Nürburgring is the race track with the longest history in Germany and the only one that has been part of the DTM calendar every year since 1984. Audi has celebrated 15 victories in the DTM at the Nürburgring. The first in 1990 with rally world champion Walter Röhrl at the wheel of the Audi V8 quattro. All of the other DTM racing cars from Audi are also on the list of winners. “I’m really looking forward to the next two weekends, especially to the first two races,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dieter Gass. “I have been pushing for a long time that we should finally race on the Grand Prix circuit in the DTM and not just on the short track.
