PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT 1.1 The application seeks full planning permission for the demolition of disused agricultural buildings (previously used in the 1970’s as a Dairy), and their replacement with 8 residential units, to be built in three blocks running in a line from east to west across the site. The eastern block (identified as Plot 1) would consist of four flats, the middle and western blocks (Plots 2 and 3 respectively) would both consist of two semi-detached houses. 1.2 The applicant sought advice via their agent prior to the submission of the application as to whether the scheme might be considered as a non-material variation of a previous consent (07/01251/FULRC) for a similar housing development on the site granted by Committee in April 2009.
