Dot Com admits to attacking Jesse after he thought Jesse stole his move, but denies killing him. Adam is able to recover hairs and fibers from the ski mask, and prints from the vase—one that matches Brooke, and another that matches an unknown person. Mac tells him to check employee fingerprint databases. Flack tells Danny that Jesse was robbed once before: several months earlier, a man took three thousand dollars in cash off of him after he won a dance contest. Adam traces the powder from the round to a training range in Brooklyn. Mac goes to the facility and questions the instructor, Greg Roberts, who recognizes Jesse as one of his students. Hawkes is able to match the print on the vase to Nick Emerson through an employee database. Flack finds Nick working as a limo driver and questions him about the print. He admits to being in the room and partying with Jesse and Brooke—before discreetly leaving to give them some time alone. Battle Scar | Definition of Battle Scar by Merriam-Webster Flack tells Danny that Jesse was robbed once before: several months earlier, a man took three thousand dollars in cash off of him after he won a dance contest. Nick tells them the tragic story: Brooke was with Jesse when he was robbed by Santiago, and he felt guilty for not protecting her. He and Nick set up a fake robbery where Nick would pretend to rob Jesse and Jesse could be the hero for Brooke. Nick was supposed to fire a harmless round from the gun into the wall, but the gun went off when he struggled with Jesse, and the round hit and killed him. Brooke attacked the shocked Nick and pulled off his mask—and then he hit her. Stella brings Brooke back to the station to identify the man who robbed them the first time, and she picks Al Santiago out of the line up. This wiki. This wiki All wikis. Seeing the blurb at the Redbox rental I took Battle Scars and hoped in fact I would get a film about veterans going through rehabilitation to civilian life in a modern setting. But Battle Scars is light years away from that. Our protagonist here is Zane Holtz back from Afghanistan where he was wounded in a nasty firefight. He's back home, but his brother drags him into his world of sleazy clubs and narcotics. The brother Ryan Eggold is no prize. He's an a number one blowhard who was in the Gulf War in the Bush 41 administration. Never stops talking about his service and thinks that the PTSD that his son is suffering from is a lot of crap. Very supportive. The film is sincere, but it really moves at a sluggish pace and the acting shows no direction at all. The music video for the song "Battle Scars" was filmed in New York in locations including industrial areas with destroyed cars and burning oil drums and ruined derelict buildings, where Sebastian and Fiasco are shown performing the song. Individuals filmed in a variety of cityscapes are shown periodically, expressing their sadness and personal scars by writing and holding up signs with words that show how they feel. The words they use include "abandoned", "abused", "fatherless", "outcast", "empty", "slave" and "bullied". Near the end of the video they tear up their signs to symbolise moving on from their hurt. Reviewer Kate Winch gave the video a four out of five rating saying, "This video follows a classic music video style, showing the artists performing with additional actors staring wistfully in cut aways. As always, there is a reason that something becomes a classic and that is because it works — just as it does here. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Sean said to me ‘maybe you can be the person to do that for Dave’ and that stuck with me throughout the whole process. Thank you for that. Thank you to Ben Masters. You helped me find my feet discussing rap as a part of an English degree (I didn’t know I even could!) and have been really supportive this year in particular. I am so happy that you got to help me with this dissertation. It feels really full circle. Not everyone can say they got to have two dissertation supervisors helping them and I am extremely grateful for both of you this year. And to Dave, thank you for opening my eyes to things that I might have gone a lot longer not giving attention to. I hope I did your work justice.
