My closest friends accept me just the way I am and boy, is that ever a comforting feeling! I value their understanding that life is complicated sometimes.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? I have a long, long way to go to be anywhere near the awesomeness of Mother Teresa and her Missionaries of Charity but I do feel a connection as far as having worked in providing health care to indigent populations with unconditional love. One of my many favorite Mother Teresa quotes: “God doesn’t ask us to do great things. He asks us to do small things with great love.”

What is your greatest regret? My greatest regret is that I have never gone on a medical mission trip. The good news is that I still have time to clean up that regret. Danita Akingba, M.D. Sara Diaz, D.O. Shiva Golian, D.O. What tenet do you live by? Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you. Compiled by Rick Myers
