14 The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa is an elegant space of waterfalls, fireplaces, and lake views. MSNBC calls this “The world’s most romantic spa” and Conde Nast Traveler places it on their Gold List as one of America’s top resort spas. The theme of water runs throughout, with wonderful Vichy waterfall massages and the SilverTag shower, an exquisite mix of 19 showerheads. There are even waterbed massage tables in the couple’s suite.

15 The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course was named “America’s Most Beautiful Resort Golf Course” and “Idaho’s Best Course” by Golf Digest. St. Joe River Cruises Get ready for a full day on the lake with this 6-hour cruise that sails the full length of the lake to the St. Joe River, the highest navigable river in the world. McEuen Park This park boasts the city’s largest playground, a colorful splash pad, tennis/pickleball court, basketball court, off-leash dog park, Avista Pavilion, the Rotary Harbor House (a waterfront concession stand/restroom facility), the seawall overlook, grand plaza, Veterans Memorial, and 4-acre grassy area. This park also hosts a boat launch, mooring facilities and a trail head for Tubbs Hill.

SPRING & SUMMER ACTIVITIES Outdoor Infinity Pool & Private Cabanas The spectacular lakefront infinity-edge swimming pool and sun deck is located next to The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course. Spend an afternoon of fun in the sun with breathtaking views of Lake Coeur d’Alene and the famous Floating Green. Full poolside snack and beverage service offered daily and two private luxury cabanas available for daily rental. Touch 7000 for both. Boardwalk Marina Walk down to the Boardwalk, rent a boat, jet skis, or paddleboards and see the lake’s beauty first hand. We have both Regal runabouts and Harris pontoon boats available. Lake Coeur d’Alene is 25 miles long and has 125 miles of shoreline, so venture out beyond our North shore and go see it all. We even have tubes available for towing behind runabouts. Silverwood Theme Park & Boulder Beach Water Park Located 30 minutes north of The Resort, Silverwood Theme Park has more than 65 rides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, the Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, and more. Walking, Running, Hiking Several excellent walking paths are located near The Resort. The floating boardwalk is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day for walking or jogging. FALL & WINTER ACTIVITIES Scarywood As seen on Travel Channel’s “Halloween’s Scariest Thrills,” Scarywood is full of haunted attractions and roaming monsters. Experience 5 haunted attractions, 7 scare zones and most of Silverwood’s signature rides in the dark. Get ready for a month of screams as the theme park you thought you knew just became the nightmare you’ll never forget. Weekends in late September and throughout October. Touch 21 for more information. Skiing & Snowboarding Silver Mountain is located approximately 35 minutes east of Coeur d’Alene in the historic Silver Valley at Kellogg, Idaho. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is approximately one hour north of Coeur d’Alene in the mountains overlooking Lake Pend Oreille. Touch 7111 for ski packages. Lookout Pass Mountain is approximately one hour east of The Resort located on the Idaho/Montana border in Mullan, Idaho.

Holiday Light Show From Thanksgiving to New Year’s, bring the family to experience The Coeur d’Alene Resort Holiday Light Show. The Holiday Light Show was named by ABC’s Good Morning America as one of the nation’s best holiday destinations. The Resort transforms into a magical winter wonderland featuring more than 1.5 million lights, lake cruises to see Santa at his North Pole workshop, live carolers, story time with Santa’s elves each afternoon in the lobby, and a live award-winning holiday musical performed at The Resort.

HIKING & BIKING The Route of the Hiawatha The Route of the Hiawatha mountain bike or hike trail is 15 miles long, and full of beautiful views, featuring 10 historic train tunnels and 7 scenic sky-high trestles. This family-friendly trail is easily enjoyed by a wide variety of people from young children to seniors. Bikes are available to rent. The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes is a 72-mile paved trail spanning the Idaho panhandle between Mullan and Plummer. The trail begins in the historic Silver Valley, continues along the Coeur d’Alene River past scenic Lake Coeur d’Alene and through rolling farmlands to Plummer.

The North Idaho Centennial Trail The North Idaho Centennial Trail is 23 miles long, starting 6 miles east of Coeur d’Alene. At the state line, it connects with the Spokane River Centennial Trail, and extends through Riverfront Park, another 22.5 miles west of the state line. You can walk, jog, or bicycle on this Class I & II paved trail. Tubbs Hill Tubbs Hill consists of over 120 acres and is bordered by Lake Coeur d’Alene on the west, south and east sides. There is a nice two-mile trail on the hill that provides spectacular scenery for everyone to enjoy. The trailhead is located on the westside of Tubbs Hill, in the south western corner of McEuen Park, just steps from The Resort.
