1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Tim was raised in Joplin, Missouri and on the nearby Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Oklahoma. The most notable ingredient in his upbringing is an extraordinarily large extended family. He married Marthajane Evinger of Carthage, Missouri, and they have three daughters: Tara, Leah, and Hope.

2. EDUCATION:

Postdoctoral Studies, Harvard University: Harvard Institutes of Higher Education, 2009.

Doctor of Philosophy, . The degree program is Adult Learning and Higher Education Administration. The dissertation was successfully defended in May of 2006 and the degree awarded in July 2006.

Masters in Education, University of Oklahoma in July of 2000. The degree program is Adult and Higher Education with a concentration in research and statistics.

Master of Divinity, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas in July of 1979.

Bachelor of Theology, Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, Moore, Oklahoma in May of 1975. Graduated with honors and served one year as President of the Student Body.

2003-2004 Executive Vice President, consolidated CAO and COO functions.

1989-2004 Vice President for Academic Affairs, Responsibilities include: supervision of Student and Academic Affairs divisions, administrate institutional research, faculty development, accreditation, personnel and student records management, budget, financial aid, intercollegiate athletics program, public relations for the College, Catalog editor, assistant to the President, and other duties as assigned.

1989-2003 International Student Director, Responsibilities include: supervision of international student admissions, compliance with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, and enrollment advisement.

1992-1994 Director of Financial Aid, Appointed by the President following the loss of financial aid through the elimination of the Alternative to Accreditation (3IC) status in the 1992 Higher Education reauthorization act. Applied for, and received, Department of Education Title IV Funds for Hillsdale students effective May 1994. Reorganized the budget of the Academic and Student Services division to accommodate the creation of an Admissions Department to oversee the functions of admissions, financial aid, and student recruitment.

1989-1991 Dean of Students, Reorganized the Student Affairs personnel, added Resident Life Coordinators and Resident Assistants to assist in supervising Student Housing. Expanded the Student Services budget to include a full-time Dean of Students.

EDUC 5133 Understanding Educational Research and Assessment: This graduate course is an overview of the nature of research on human development, learning, and pedagogical knowledge and skills. The focus is on the application of research in educatgional settings, such as, Action Research (occasional).

IDIS 4403 Interdisciplinary Capstone: This senior course is designed to demonstrate that the student has accomplished the bachelor degree purposes of common literacy, communication skills, and critical thinking (each semester).

STAT 5213 Introduction to Quantitative Methods: This graduate course is an overview of the statistical rmethods used in research studies and the use of appropriate descriptive and inferential statistics (fall semester).

2001-2006 Principal investigator: High-achieving, First-Generation College Student success (dissertation research) for The University of Oklahoma.

1998 First Generation College Student Symposium under the OU Student Development Department coordinated by Jeff Hale.

1996-present Principal Investigator for the Reliability and Validity Study by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). Presented findings on standard quality verification to the U.S. Department of Education National Advisory Committee for Institutional Quality and Integrity for Phase 2 in December of 1999, Phase 3 in May of 2000, and Phase 4 in May of 2009.

2009 On-Site Visiting Team Member Training for Transnational Association of Christian College and Schools (TRACS). Previous workshops conducted in 2003, 2005, and 2007.

2004-present Institutional closing of American Christian College and Seminary, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Eaton supervised the institution following its loss of accreditation, yearlong teach-out plan for students who had completed 75% of their degree programs, closed the institution, and archived the academic records to insure future availability of transcripts. The process required coordination with the accrediting agency (TRACS), the U.S. Department of Education, and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. At the request of the OSRHE Chancellor, Randall serves as the repository for the ACCS academic records.

2001-present Regional Accreditation Coordinator for the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. Responsible for institutional oversight for TRACS institutions in the Southwestern United States. Served as staff liaison for on-site evaluations of Bob Jones University, Christian Heritage College, Clinton Junior College, International Baptist College, The Kings College and Seminary, Liberty University, New Life Theological Seminary, Southern California Seminary, Southern Methodist College, Trinity Life Bible College, and Williamson Christian College.

1996-98 Chaired Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools On-site Evaluation Teams at Southern Methodist College, California Christian College, and Messenger College.

Randall Accreditation Experience:

2002-2003 Chaired Self-Study process, which culminated in on-site peer evaluation for reaffirmation of accreditation by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. The Accreditation Commission action granted 10 years accreditation beginning in 2004.

1997-1998 Chaired Self-Study process, which culminated in on-site peer evaluation for initial accreditation by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. The Accreditation Commission granted 5 years accreditation in 1999.

1995 Chaired Self-Study process, which culminated in on-site peer evaluation and initial candidacy for accreditation by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

1993 Co-Directed a successful appeal of a negative action on accreditation by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
