We will be installing our first pickleball courts this summer in Delta Mills Park. Development plans are also ramping up for the Township’s newest park, Mount Hope Park. Mount Hope Park: The park will be located on Mount Hope Highway, east of Nixon Road and will serve the growing number of residents on the west side of the Township. In September of 2015, the Township purchased property adjacent to the planned park location, providing a total of 120 acres for future park development. The Delta Township board voted to move forward with phase one of Mount Hope Park planning and development. Planning a new park is an exciting process which takes expertise, time, and valuable feedback. The Parks and Recreation Department has held several public hearings to solicit resident feedback on what should be included in the park.
