Sewerage

SVTSEW1 – SVTSEW8

These are existing services identified as special agreements, and believed to pre-date privatisation.

Trade Effluent

SVTTE2

This agreement commenced in 1968 to run for 99 years. The charge is for the removal of solids, metals, cyanide and sulphate and is related to the cost of treatment at sewage treatment works.

SVTTE3

This customer is charged at a reduced R charge to reflect customer contribution to costs of connection.

SVTTE4

Agreed in 2000 to run for five years and amended in 2005. Variant of standard Mogden formula is applied to reflect unique discharge arrangements: no R charge because customer is not connected to public sewer; reduced V charge reflecting degree of treatment provided; B charge based on total COD rather than settled COD; and reduced S charge due to the nature of the discharge arrangements.

SVTTE5

One-off payment of £25,000 made in 1987 for the disposal in perpetuity of leachate from a landfill site.
