Cregeen's Drink Menu 11172009 Gaelic for “little rock,” Cregeen's was built in Dublin, Ireland, and shipped to the Argenta district of North Little Rock. This pub features beers on tap that can be found no where else in Arkansas, as well as an extensive wine and bottled beer list. Entertainment includes weekly live music. Experience "Craic" (pronounced crack), the Gaelic word for communal fun, as you would in Ireland. With Irish cuisine, traditional and local live music, along with a friendly staff...you won't forget the experience. Sláinte Come grab a pint after a hard day’s work at the pub. Happy hours run from 4:00PM until 7:00PM (10:00PM - 1:00AM in Dublin) Monday thru Friday. Bring a friend or co-worker and take advantage of our “Dollar Off drafts, wine by the glass, and well drinks.” If you can get out of the office, but can’t the office out of you, feel free to bring your laptop computer and finish up with stew and a stout (the Argenta district provides free Wi-Fi). Cregeen’s is calling out the lassies on Thursday and Saturday nights for Ladies’ Hour. Only at Cregeen's. Every drink from 8:17 until 9:17 is only $2.00 for the Ladies. That's right, you want a hurricane, martini, glass of wine, or even a pint or a bottle, it doesn't matter, because they are all $2.00. Any drink normally sold under ten dollars will be available for just two. Every Thursday and Saturday night. Why the odd times? Ask an Irishman. If you’re like us and tired of paying a cover charge, come to Cregeen’s on Friday and Saturday nights. We feature local musicians starting around 9PM until last call, free at the door. Special event nights (like Paddy’s Day) we do feature full bands and may charge a small cover to make sure the musicians don’t starve or go thirsty. Credit: iStockphoto Peter Policki, Technical Engineering Manager at Orlando Wines (the parent company for Pernod Ricard Pacific, makers of Jacob’s Creek and Wyndham Estate), says ‘Wine Delivery Automation’ has enabled his company to slash water consumption in its Jacob’s Creek winery at Rowland Flat in the Barossa by nearly 30 per cent. At each of the main transfer points in the winemaking process – from the vineyards, to trucks, to crushing, to fermentation, to centrifuge, to blending, to filtration, to oak, and then to bottling – there is the potential to lose significant volumes of wine when it is transferred through a pipe, and then pushed out with water. By introducing an automated mobile pump to deliver the wine from the source tank to 10 bottling tanks, Orlando Wines reduced unnecessary transfers, accidental wine overflows and water consumption. ‘Waterless transfers are having a significant benefit from the point of view of both wine quality and wastewater management,’ Mr Policki said. Michael Pecar is responsible for reducing energy and water use by 10 per cent across Foster’s Group’s 10 Australian production facilities, which includes its wineries (Wolf Blass and Lindemans) and breweries. This is no small task – based on 2007 figures, Foster’s total annual energy use was 1.74 Petajoules. One Petajoule is roughly 30 million kilowatt hours.

Baileys owner Diageo announced recently that more than two billion bottles of the liqueur have been sold since it was first created. It accounts for more than 50% of all spirits exported from Ireland, and according to ➤ Baileys Saint Baileys, 2,300 glasses of its sweet liqueur are Patrick’s Shake consumed every minute of every day. Since it was introduced in 1974, a number of creative flavors have joined the lineup, includ- ing Salted Caramel, Chocolate Cherry, Pumpkin Spice and Red Velvet, among others. The original, however, remains the standard, and works perfectly in this sweet concoction that would be a satisfying follow-up to a traditional Cream of the Crop boiled dinner.
