Toys “R” Us Shopping Privileges from Now Till 15 October 2018, Spend Toys “R” Us Shopping Privileges From now till 15 October 2018, spend with Bank of Communications Credit Card upon HK$500 or above in a single purchase at Toys “R” Us’s designated outlets in Hong Kong to enjoy below shopping privileges: Offer 1: 5% Credit Rebate Offer 2: A Complimentary “The Legend of Geoffrey” Story Book “Toys “R” Us Shopping Privileges” Promotion Terms and Conditions: 1. The promotion is only applicable to customers (each a “Cardholder”) holding credit card(s) issued by Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong and Pacific credit cards issued by Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. in China (except BOSS Credit Card and installment Card), and other credit cards as designated by the Bank from time to time (“Eligible Credit Card”), both principal and supplementary cards inclusive, but it is not applicable to the Bank of Communications Pacific Internet card and gift card. Unless otherwise specified herein, the “Bank” means Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited and Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. 2. The promotional period is from 16 July to 15 October 2018, both days inclusive (“Promotional Period”). 3. In order to enjoy the privileges, Cardholders must present and conduct transactions with the Eligible Credit Card at Toys “R” Us (the “Merchant”)’s designated outlets in Hong Kong (the “Designated Outlets”). 4. During the Promotional Period, Cardholders of the credit cards issued by Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited are entitled to 5% credit rebate upon a single transaction of HK$500 or above conducted with the Eligible Credit Card at Designated Outlets. The amount of credit rebate is calculated on an account basis. Principal card and its related supplementary card(s) are regarded as one credit card account. The same credit card account is entitled to a maximum of HK$200 credit rebate per month during the Promotional Period and a maximum of HK$800 credit rebate for the whole Promotional Period. 16 to 31 July 2018 and 1 to 15 October 2018 will be regarded as one calendar month respectively for calculating credit rebate. The credit rebate awarded under the Promotion will be credited to the principal card account on or before 31 December 2018. Credit rebate awarded can only be used for the future credit card retail spending purpose. 5. Whether a transaction is eligible for the 5% credit rebate in that month will be determined according to the transaction date records of the Bank. The credit card account must be valid, non-delinquent and in good financial standing when the credit rebate is credited into it. Any fraud or abuse, false, unauthorized, cancelled, refunded, un-posted transactions will not be applicable to the Promotion. All credit rebate awarded can only be used for credit card retail spending in the future. The Bank will verify the credit card transaction record via computer system to confirm Cardholder's eligibility for the Promotion. Cardholder is required to keep the relevant original sales receipt(s) and credit card sales slip(s) for verification upon request by the Bank. In case of disputes, Cardholder is required to submit the relevant original sale receipt(s) and credit card sales slip(s) for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted to the Bank will not be returned. In case of discrepancy between the Bank's computer record and details recorded on the credit card sales slip(s), the Bank's computer record shall prevail. 6. Clauses 4 and 5 mentioned hereinabove are only applicable to credit card(s) issued by Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited. Cardholder of the credit card issued by the Bank in China is entitled to 5% credit rebate upon a single transaction of RMB500 or equivalent amount in other currencies conducted with the Eligible Credit Card at Designated Outlets. Regarding to requirements governing the “5% credit rebate” promotion for Mainland Cardholders, please refer to http://creditcard.bankcomm.com for more details. 7. The offers cannot be exchanged for cash, other products or discounts and are not transferable (unless specified). The offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or privileges. 8. During the Promotional Period, Cardholders are entitled to a complimentary “‘The Legend of Geoffrey” Story Book (“Free Gift”) upon spending HK$500 or above in a single purchase with Eligible Credit Card. To enjoy the offer, Cardholders are required to present the printed sales slips issued by the merchant, credit card sales slip and designated Eligible Credit Card (the credit card number must be the same and consistent) at Customer Service Counter of Designated Outlets at the same date of the transaction made and during opening hours. No authorization by the third party is allowed. The number of Free Gift for the whole Promotional Period is 5,000 only and is on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. 9. The original sales slip from merchants and the credit card sales slip should state the card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount, valid authorization code and signature of Customers (if applicable) clearly. Any photocopied sales invoices, receipts or sales slips, out-dated receipts, duplicate receipts, damaged receipts are not acceptable. If the Cardholders fail to present the above information or the information provided is incomplete (for any reason), the Cardholders are not entitled to the offer. 10. The Free Gift will not be granted again if it is lost, stolen or damaged. 11. All valid merchant sales invoice and credit card sales slip used for redemption of Free Gift will be stamped by the staff of customer service counter of Designated Outlets after verification. Split transactions will not be accepted. Cardholders’ transaction from the same merchant cannot be split into multiple sales invoices or sales slips to participate in the Promotion. Each sales invoice or sales slip can be used once only and cannot be re-used in this Promotion. 12. “Eligible transactions” refer to the retail purchases made with designated Eligible Credit Card at Toys “R” Us during the Promotional Period, but exclude the following transactions: Cash advance and related administrative and handling fee, installment payment, online retail transactions, electronic wallet transactions including but not limited to WeChat Pay, PayMe and Alipay, split sales transactions, any cancelled, refunded, unauthentic or unposted transactions, or any other categories of transactions as the Bank and the Merchant may specify from time to time. 13. Eligible spending transaction must be posted prior to the crediting of the credit rebate by the Bank failing which such transaction is not eligible for the Promotion and shall be regarded as non-eligible spending transaction, regardless of the cause for the delay in posting (including but not limited to dispute transaction, refund transaction or delayed post by the Merchant). 14. The Bank and The Merchant have the rights to amend any terms and conditions, change or terminate the offers without prior notice. The Bank and The Merchant have no liability for any changes or termination of the offers. 15. Cardholder understands and accepts that all photographs, details, availability and description of all products, gifts or services are not provided by the Bank and are for reference only. The Bank accepts no responsibility whatsoever. All liabilities for any matters relating to the products, gifts or services (including but without limitation their quality and supply) are solely borne by The Merchant. 16. In case of disputes, the Bank and The Merchant reserve the rights for final decision. 17. No person other than the Cardholders and the Bank will have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623, the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce or to enjoy the benefit of any term under these terms and conditions. 18. In case of discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
