DETECTIVE DON FLACK Party crashers? LINDSAY MONROE Those might explain why I found several deep indentation marks on the surface of the billboard. DETECTIVE DON FLACK Some of the witnesses are sporting significant bruising. STELLA BONASERA It’d take quite a bit of force to cause that much damage with a tennis ball. There were no other reports or evidence of broken windows in the surrounding buildings and no other billboards were damaged. CSI: NEW YORK - “Buzzkill” - Eps. #408 - Page 7 LINDSAY MONROE So you think one of the partiers up there was the target? DETECTIVE DON FLACK Flying tennis balls ain’t exactly a deadly weapon. LINDSAY MONROE Maybe they were just trying to send a message. STELLA BONASERA I don’t know. But somebody out there took aim, fired and ended up killing someone. Let’s find ‘em. STRATHMORE ADVERTISING AGENCY - NIGHT MUSIC OUT DAMIEN BARNES The advertising business is pretty competitive. It’s one of the most coveted billboard locations in Times Square. DETECTIVE DON FLACK Hmm. You suggesting that one of your competitors might have been behind this? DAMIEN BARNES All I’m saying is if my billboard gets shut down, we’ll have a bidding war for that space. STELLA BONASERA Now, was anybody on the billboard that wasn’t supposed to be there? The investigation reveals the body is of a young girl that Sean Nolan, who is discovered alive, asked to keep an eye on his pet goldfish. After Right Next Door the ignition point wasn't Sean Nolan's apartment, and the fumes had traveled through the air vents to his open window, they uncover a lighter in Bonnie's apartment. Prints on the lighter reveal that Bailey Right Next Door, an 8 year old girl kidnapped over a week before, was the arsonist.

Pennefather (ad hoc) LES FAITS Diffusée par TQS, Les experts : Manhattan est une version doublée en français de la série de dramatiques policières CSI: New York. La série suit les activités d’un groupe d’enquêteurs spéciaux, lesquels utilisent des techniques de criminalistique pour élucider des crimes commis dans la ville de New York. Les personnages principaux dans les deux épisodes examinés dans le cadre de cette décision étaient Mac Taylor, Stella Bonasera, Danny Messer, Lindsay Monroe, Sheldon Hawkes, Don Flack et Jessica Angell. Un personnage secondaire, soit le docteur Sid Hammerback, effectuait des autopsies au laboratoire de la CSI. Le 4 février 2009, un téléspectateur s’est plaint que TQS avait changé la classification de cette émission à 8+, alors qu’elle était 13+ l’année précédente (le texte intégral de toute la correspondance afférente se trouve à l’Annexe). Le téléspectateur qui a déposé la plainte était d’avis que cette nouvelle classification moins élevée ne convenait pas étant donné que le contenu de l’émission n’avait pas changé. Elle renfermait toujours, comme il a dit, « des scènes de cadavres massacrés et ensanglantés de même que des séquences d’autopsie très réalistes qui sont inappropriées pour des enfants. » Le CCNR l’ayant informé qu’il devait préciser un épisode à titre d’exemple, le plaignant à récrit le 14 février en disant tout simplement que l’émission est diffusée chaque lundi 2 de 20 h à 21 h.

Pro gradu -tutkielma, 71 sivua + lähdeluettelo Kevät 2015 Pro gradu -tutkielmassani tutkin lohdun löytymistä traumaattisen kerronnan välityksellä. Keskityn erityisesti salapoliisikirjallisuuteen tai tarkemmin televisiosarjaan CSI: Crime Scene Investigation New York, The Final Season (2012). Tarkoituksenani on tutkia lohtua salapoliisikirjallisuudelle tyypillisten piirteiden kautta ja salapoliisikirjallisuuden lajityyppiä traumateorian näkökulmasta. Tutkielmassani tutkin televisiosarja CSI NY The Final Seasonin juonta yksityiskohtaisesti ja tarkastelen, tavoitteleeko tyylilaji lohtua ja viimeiseksi sitä, saavuttaako CSI-sarja lohtua katsojalle ja mitkä keinot toimivat tyylilajin lupaamaa lohtua vastaan. Pohdin myös sitä, tavoittaako salapoliisikirjallisuuden tyylilaji koskaan lupaamaansa päätöstä. Tutkimuksessani pohdin myös sitä, mitkä piirteet sarjassa viittaavat traumateorian antamaan pohjaan. Hlavním hrdinou je stále Gregory House, misantropický, sarkastický doktor, který chodí o holi a je závislý na Vicodinu, což mu však nebrání v tyranizování pacientů a okolí. I nadále stojí v čele diagnostické skupiny, která řeší různé medicínské záhady, složení jeho týmu je však už zcela jiné. Ze staré gardy zbyl jen dr. Foreman, k němuž si House vybral tři nové asistenty – bývalého plastického chirurga dr. Chrise Tauba, specialistu na sportovní lékařství dr. Lawrence Kutnera a internistku dr. Remy „Třináctku“ Hadleyovou. Celá pátá řada je přímo nabitá překvapeními, jež změní životy hlavních hrdinů seriálu. – V prvních 12 dílech, které TV Nova vysílala od 7. 9. do 23. 11. 2009, přišel House o svého nejlepšího a jediného přítele, onkologa dr. Wilsona. Příčinou byla smrt Wilsonovy přítelkyně Amber, která ve 4. řadě přišla o život při nehodě autobusu. Wilson byl přesvědčen, že House neudělal pro její záchranu dost, a House se nedokázal postavit k problému čelem. Celoživotní přátelství obou mužů ale nelze jen tak smazat, a tak se po nějaké době zase udobřili. – Byli jsme také svědky prvního polibku Dr. House a ředitelky nemocnice Lisy Cuddyové, s níž doposud jen dvojsmyslně špičkoval. – V dalších dílech se budou líbat i dr. Foreman a dr. Remy „Třináctka“ Hadleyová a také bývalí členové Houseova týmu, Chase a Cameronová. Ti spolu měli ve 3.
