Once upon a time, there was a marsh created by Humans during the Middle Ages, made of fields and vegetable farms surrounded by canals, small islands where charming small houses and large ponds with exceptional fauna and flora have emerged. A site where even nowadays several dozens of houses are only accessible by boat and where only a few decades ago pupils used to go to school not by bus but using a small boat.
